Been working on upper back thickness for the last four weeks, i have been training upper back with shoulders which has yielded me some good results.
Also training the upper back portion on back day as well.

I know the one you mean now, I find it really hard to get the mind to muscle connection on that lower portion, I've been experimenting for a while to try and feel my lower lay contract

i know what you mean, i just started working on mine...dude at the gym jus showed me last week actually.. try doing axe pulls with the cable too

What's an axe pull? I probably know what it is but just have a different name for it?
I'd love to diet down and see what muscle lies beneath my lower back because I'm holding quite a bit of fluid and fat down there, I need to read up on it to see if its hormone related

Cheers! My lats need a bit more width and I'm struggling to bring out the lower portion of the lat.

def thick man! +1. for lowers try using narrow grip pull down lean back and pull it down to your belly button....start with low weight and concentrate on the contraction
