MOST IMPORANT ANCILLARY
ad
This is one of my most important ancilaries while on cycle. Helps me keep a close watch on my health. I fell everyone should invest in a decent blood pressure monitor. Got this one on Amazon pretty cheap. Here's the link if anyone needs it:

i heard that if you have a lot of muscle on your arm they can give a false reading that your blood pressure is higher than it really is. just heard someone say it on a forum, not sure how true it is though
There are different size cuffs (small,med,large,x-large) if your arm is to large for the cuff the measurement will be incorrect. If i were you i would measure your arm before purchasing and when you do look for one that has the cuff size that would most adequately meet your needs.
i have one as well not the same one but does the job
wheezy123Just as long as you don't get a BP cuff that goes around the wrist. Those are crap. And worst come to worst Wal-mart will have a bp station and then there's always your local EMS/Fire house that will be glad to check your BP if you're concerned.
Make sure your sitting down when checking. That looks like a nice one.
Nasty81NateYeah, I got it cause it had great ratings on Amazon

There is nothing like a high blood preasure head ach followed by a nose bleed. If you can't get ur hands on one just check ur bp when you go grocery store for free. What do you do if your bp is through the roof while juicing. What's worked for others?

Not a bad thing to have, but you'll still know when your BP is through the roof when you start getting random headaches and nosebleeds.
What should be a BP while on AAS
Nasty81Nate120 over 80 is what your shooting for, just like when your not on AAS. Mine was is lil high post workout...149 over 85...prolly a combination of Jack3d and TNE pre-workout causing the spike. It was 130 over 79 this morning.
wheezy123That's be expected NN, as i'm sure you already know. And the second (or diastolic) number is extremely important as it's the pressure exuded on the vasculature system after the heart has pumped and is supposed to be at it's lowest point of pressure.
Probably nothing to worry about mate, if I recall correctly there are some things that have to be done in order to correctly measure BP. Among those I believe one thing was to avoid caffeine before measuring, and one has to be "calm"
Edit: Marked thread as helpful, as measuring BP is really important while on cycle. While on cycle BP increases, which could in worst case lead to a stroke and/or clotting, which in turn can lead to death.
Ronny13: Weather on cycle or not, too high blood pressure is unhealthy. The problem here is that AAS is known to increase BP, and thus what nate tries to communicate here is that there is a greater importance of checking it regularly while on cure.
JtizzleI have been trying to find one that checks my BP anally ... no luck and no homo
wheezy123And JT, i'm noticing more and more recently that your post are all ending in "no homo" and i'm beginning to become concerned!
JtizzleThat just means ur payin more attn.. ha ha
Nate told me I should change my member name to no homo lol
Nasty81NateDamn bro, you'll take anything in the butt!
Thats a great asset to any cycle, I have an app on my phone that takes ur BPM, but I need a blood pressure device
