This is a scented wax warmer I just take the top off and put my oils on the lightbulb and a few min later their good to go.

I do with every pin...makes it easier to draw and gives me less/no pip
I always do. I had some bad pip from some prop and warming the oil helped. It flows through pins better to.
Some do it to reduce pip, but I've never did it either..
