+ 2 Hematocrit Question
Does anyone have any experience or advice on dealing with rising HCT levels? Over the past few months my HCT has risen from 49.4 to 50 to 51.3. The recent jump from 50 to 51.3 is an increase of test cyp (120mg per week to 140mg) and the addition of primo (105mg per week). I'm currently pinning every day. Still awaiting the E2 results but I am anticipating a drop with the addition of primo from the 85 I was at. I monitor my hydration intake and have recently increasing the cardio intensity (I was doing the stair master and keeping my heart rate in between 125 bmp - 145 bmp for an average of 10 minutes 3 times a week) but with the high HCT reading, I started run/walking again to get the heart pumping more. Maybe not enough cardio? I monitor my blood pressure (everyday readings in the AM) and I am within range. Any advice or input is appreciated.
Test Cyp (Genero Test C200): 140mg per week (everyday pin)
Pharma Prim 100: 105mg per week (everyday pin)
Retatrutide: 2mg per week (one dose every Sunday)
GH (Keys Goldtrope 400IU kit): 2IU everyday

We’re old now bro lol, that’s the problem. I used to be able to run a gram of EQ and a gram of test and maintain like a 46 HCT. These days just on my TRT dose I’m good and can stay below 50 with 20 mins of cardio 4-5 days a week plus staying properly hydrated. But I added in a measly 100mgs of nandrolone for my joints and it started climbing along with my RBC and hemoglobin. I kept lowering the dose to find the minimum for joint relief and hopefully less impact to those bio markers and I got down to 50mg ew and all 3 were still rising. Sucks cause just 50mgs still really helped my knees. Im probably just gonna have to cycle it. My levels stayed in what I’d Consider acceptable range for about the first 3 months.
Start donating blood at regular intervals.
I forgot to mention my ferritin levels have dropped from 156 to 58 to 44. I'm concerned with a blood donation my ferritin will fall out of range.
Take some iron and also if you like cashews, walnuts, pistachios those will help as well and give some protein
Supplement with iron. I struggle keeping my ferritin in range even if I am not donating. I just chew through iron. I supplement iron to stay near the top of the range but I have never added so much to push me over. Again, I think it’s just how my body works.
Jrihard89Side note: what’s your baseline IGF
Baseline IGF1 was 150 with a Z Score of .1 My mid cycle labs (running the GH at 2.5IU to 3IU per night) came back with a IGF1 at 260 with a Z Score of 1.4 I dropped the dose down to 2IU due to sleep disturbance and hand numbness and this recent panel came back with a IGF1 at 168 and Z Score of .4 Not sure how to interpret that. Any insight?
Jrihard89That’s good! @irongame427 knows more but to me that sounds good! 2IU isn’t much at all. So it’s not awful. And at 3IU 260 is good imo. Everyone’s different but there is obviously GH in there
That's reassuring to hear. Thanks man!
If 3iu had you at 260ng/ml that means you’re getting 86ng/ml of IGF-1 elevation per 1iu of GH. Then you dropped to 2ius 2x86=172. 172 160 same difference.
