Vitargo or glycofuse or any cyclic dextrins are the best choice, They absorb the quickest and are a better source. dextrose is ok. Waxy maize ain't very good.
Insulin is the only compound I've done and been like "I hope I don't die". I ended insulin awhile ago. I don't think it is worth the risk. Glad you're doing your research.
research bud. Thats 100% pure malodextrine(corn). But yea you can use that. Research online not on yourself. Get a blood glucose meter and do some experimenting(not with insulin) just to get a feel of what your normal levels are throughout day. pre/post workout, ect. BE SAFE and yea you gotta buy the glucose strips(kinda expensive)

I think ReliOn from Walmart is the least expensive.
