Yup that’s what var does. I’ve done bloodwork after just one week and lipids are fucked. It’s transient though. Maintain your cardio, don’t eat like a slob, and it’ll do negligible things to your long term health. No amount of supplements have kept it from happening while taking var. The ones listed below will certainly help you bounce back quicker. All AAS will skew your lipids even just test alone. That’s why you gotta spend significant time off cycle or on your trt dose (that’s low enough for all your bio markers to be healthy ranges) and not that BS “200mg trt” shit.

Don’t fret it you’re fine. Just be smart about how much and how long you run things for and you can do this relatively healthily

Would u run 3 more weeks so it makes it 8 week cycle for the var and then stop, or quit it now.

I also run 5 miles a day mon thru Friday with strength training those days as well.

Well I woulda chose a first cycle as just test like 400-500mg/wk. But you’re already in on the var, so might as well see it out. Is the goal of this cycle a cut?

Benny1818's picture

Yes cut. If three more weeks won’t make that big of a difference maybe it’s time to kick the var wait a month retest then ether bump the test of add the primo. What would u do if ur labs looked like that 5 weeks in on var.

Shit I’ve looked worse than that lol. I knew it was coming though. It’s to be expected. I bounce back within 2-3 weeks to my baseline numbers. Then cruise there for several months before hopping back on another cycle. The cholesterol numbers shouldn’t be your “oh shit time to stop” metrics for a cycle. Things like blood pressure, CBC values, and some things in your CMP will take precedence.

Got it. Thanks bro! you are very well informative. I’m glad I hopped on this platform had no idea where to turn to. lol.

Also if I drop the var and do primo would it be bad like anavar also was going to bump the test up to 250mg a week

You want to do a 5 month cycle? That’s insanely long for your first. Honestly you should take your gains and recover. A 16 week cycle is plenty long for your first time.

Var is always going to crush lipids. Just a part of the drug. Primo will impact you less.

Got it. Ok thanks so much !

Also how long do u think it will take for the ldl/hdl to recover I only took var for 5 weeks total 50mg a day

Done var twice and took about a month for my lipids to return to normal. I also ate super cleanly though. I also do moderate cardio. Probably depends on your diet and cardio as well as your protocol after.

Pct is probably going to fuck with your lipids as well.

Benny1818's picture

Got it no need for pct.

I got test cyp from my endo tested at 300 low t put me on test the problem is now if I test over 1000 I can’t use the doc but if I lower my test I don’t feel as good. So I had to go this route and get it myself and do labs every three months or so.

First time hearing about citrus. Could you shortly explain the benefits? I’ll probably do my own research as well, but always nice hearing from the recommender as to why they recommended.
