I don't really know what to say except you guys be the judge. I'm in the pink, middle in the second picture. The guy who came in first is in red to the left and second place is in black to the right. The winner said to the host "pleasure doing business with you" I guess that says a lot

It was tight with you and the guy in the red but I do think you had em from the back. You definitely had the guy in black brother. As wny said below it sucks when guys who put on the show or host the show have dogs in the race because you can always bet their clients will win , ive watched it happen at many venues. Keep moving forwards you have a bright future , you know it was joke, and soo doesn't everyone else so , chin up and keep killing it.
Idk how anyone on here who commented was able to do so with only seeing the front comparisons. MJ you know I've been encouraging your progress but I can't agree unless you beat them from the back also. Imo most local shows come down to conditioning before size.

Eh the guy in black still didn't have legs though and the other guys were just tall still no legs but I agree that the guy in red was my biggest competition in the class. Now it's onto a nearby local show in June. This third place is good for a jr national qualification so I want to do that show In Chicago which is alo in june. Figured id bulk up a bit then get right back on my prep diet sometime soon.

Unfortunately that apparently did not matter here. bro, you look absolutely amazing! I can't even come up with the correct words to describe you. I could never in my life imagine having even one quarter of the physique that you have! you are a true champion by every meaning of the word.keep it up and please do not let this get to your head too much. unfortunately politics are everywhere. And not one single person can beat them by themselves.I'm sure it will just make you train harder and push harder for the next one. That show is becoming more & more of a joke. So there's a trainer who is a judge, who has competitors in the show. There's 2 trainers that sponsor the show that have a constant inflow of competitors who seem to place well no matter what the condition. Shit, that's the problem with something scored in a subjective way. Politics come into play way too much.
The guy in the red was who I thought pushed you the hardest. I don't even know who the other guy is. When it comes down to it, I thought you had enough for the win in the class. Guy in the red did get harder as he posed but his back was weak and hamstrings weren't there from the back or side shots. You had him on mass, symmetry and proportion through the mandatories, he edged you in conditioning.
Lesson learned, you have to do this for yourself and setting personal bests. Too many variables that can't be controlled, including the political bs. For what it's worth, I've heard a few other trainers speak up and say they'll never prep anyone for that show based on how judging went in all classes. From my honest observation at prejudge, I thought you had first and did think it'd be close between you and the guy in red for first and second, but logically scoring by all the mandatories I had you first and him second. How the fuck third came about, I have no clue. You put in good work and brought it, just don't do that show again.
Yea I'm deff done with that show it's just a waste of time and energy at this point. I thought I could overcome the politics but apparently not. It's so cruel what they do it really is. I'm not giving up obv but I deff need some time to regain my mental state mostly.
Spoken like a true champion brother stay strong and keep up the hard work and I agree shit was a joke politics just like everything else. A pro told me one time that he tries to beat himself year to year and that's what matters making a better you.
