Reverse Grip Bench

What's up bros
I've read a lot on the reverse grip bench. It is supposed to hit the upper chest more effectively (from what I hear) I was just wondering if any of you guys have this as a staple in your routines and how effective it really is compared to the alternatives.
Any insight would be appreciated

BigBmajYeah I was excited about trying this. I read something about it activating a larger portion of the pec minor than the incline does. But it just didn't work well for me. I messed around with grip and elbow placement a tad and still didn't really feel it like I had hoped. I think my pec/shoulder attachment is pretty tight and maybe that was the problem. I did notice it was better using the smith machine.
Def hurt the wrists a little bit when i first tried it but eventually became okay. Shoulder width apart and I never went higher than a plate and 25 on each side.
I just use a wide hammer strength.
AnonI've done it it bothers my wrist a bit sometimes but I wasn't sure how good it was now I'm going to do this since it was brought up and answered as effective !!!
My boy Hollywood turned me on too it and had an awesome chest workout that day.Its been apart of my routine since. Most definatly works.
Gonna try it out bro, how wide do you go?
relatively narrow, slightly inside shoulders to straight on shoulder width.
you gotta go with where it dosnt hurt your wrist.
AnonI'm glad to hear it works I'm going to deff do now
