muscle loss

ad

I've been cutting (not on cycle) for the past 10 weeks and have dropped 33lbs...the past week i dropped 5 and am worried that i could be losing some muscle mass. From what iv read you shouldnt exceed 2 lbs a week fat loss otherwise you could compromise muscle mass. Im 5'9 195lbs diet is 250g protein 40-50g fat 25-30g carbs i do a carb re-feed every 2-3 weeks. Workout is weights 6x week and cardio 3-4x week. strength is down but i expect to be down since low carbs. should i be worried about this? or is there anything i should change up? thanks for your help

Get some decent complex carbs in for a few days and see how you look. Should give you an immediate indication of where you're at. Good luck bro.

Add some anavar or winstrol to your cutting cycle. That will help with keeping the muscle mass.
And there is plenty of gear to raise you metabolism if you want to loose fat faster.

im trying to get to 175-180, would a carb cycle be better for the last part of the cut to spare as much muscle as possible?

Just read that you've already been dieting for 10 weeks so my hurried response was somewhat useless. Maybe try bumping your clean carbs up a couple hundred grams for a couple days and c if u fill back out. I've learned that a diet is a constantly changing entity when trying to preserve muscle. How much has your strength dipped? Are u losing muscle? Sometimes the mirror is a better indicator than the scale.

Hey bro, sometimes it takes your body a while to catch up to your diet and cardio. The problem is by the time your body catches up and u start to change the fire is already burning to hot and u burn muscle and fat. Imo, we sometimes become so zealous to cut up that we shoot ourselves in the foot, try not too diet too hard or do too much cardio to start, and if u r losing to much weight and strength, maybe manipulate your carbs and fill back out for a while and restart. I try to manipulate my diet first, then when my body stops responding to that, I will slowly introduce cardio to born fat. That way I am in control and know what to tweek if I'm losing too much weight or not enough. I work to Damn hard to build muscle to piss it away by my over zealousness (not sure if that is a word). Also when the fat stops melting off, I like to go low carbs for a couple days followed by high carbs for a day. Hope this helps bro.

Were you on a cycle recently? Did you do a proper PCT if so? How many calories a day are you one and are you doing cardio? What is your BF?
