I'll get right to the point.
If you want to help the community, stop bitching in the damn SI and write a review.
First, most of y'all only bitch until the source finally gets you together and then all is forgiven. It's selfish, self-serving bullshit. It does nothing to help the next man.
Second, all your bitching on the SI is gone in a couple days because the comments are pushed to page 2 or 3 or 4. Again, it does nothing to help the next man.
Third, bitching in the SI rarely has any effect on a source's performance.
Write a review. It's there for all to see, weeks and months later. If it's well written, it stays.
Sources want good reviews. They ask for them all the time. They don't want bad reviews. But if you only bitch in the SI, then STFU when you get your gear, nothing changes. If you're unhappy, let the community know. Your honest review will help another man from getting screwed and it might get the source's attention.

Alot about what I see being bitched about on an si doesn't work as a review but if it does write the review for sure.
I will say contact the src with respect and then put it out there if its not made write then write a review so everyone can see because I go back multiple pages in the review section but I only look at the top of the si.

I see that there complaining about different things but they won't work as a review either because the member hasn't ran the gear or his complaints are about maybe shipping and that will get taken down. Also all the partial reviews that have been being pulled lately.
I wouldn't think that you were being a smartass brother you are a stand up member. I see what you are talking about in this post i believe that like you say most can be handled a different way. I see though alot not fitting the rules of what a review is

It's true that quality and effectiveness of the gear is what most are interested in. But if a source isn't living up to other claims, such as t/a, or other promises not kept, those are issues the community needs to be aware of. Certainly worthy of a review.
I agree but if you go through the review pages you will see mods pulling reviews like that saying take it to the si and like you said it just gets pushed away by the fanboy.
I would go as far as making a forum post personally about my situation say like title srcs ta are going out of control talk about that and add my situation plus any others I could find to add to the forum. Thats where people will really see it. You just have to be careful how you go about it not being able to say labs or src names.
Its definitely something that has been struggled with by members for awhile but I think that certain members make it harder for the real complaints to be seen and heard because of bs complaints from members that don't have a real dog in the fight.

Yes, he is correct. There is protocol for what makes an acceptable review. Also if someone goes in and votes all 1's it needs to be legit as well. We are very fair about it tho, really that is all everyone needs to be and this all works well.

Agree. Poking and prodding the discussion page, encouraging disdain and being inciteful...the srcs don't need that..I keep an eye out for that
Following your advice, one could start a general conversation in the Off Topic section about their displeasure with a source, without naming them, and then post on the Source Discussion page as well. Any member who knows how to navigate the site can track posts made by an individual member and then BAM! It wouldn't take much to correlate the unnamed source in the Off Topic section with that of the review left on the Source Discussion page, with both comments being made by the same member. That's assuming this would not be a violation of the rules. I hope this makes sense.
Can a mod please clarify if this is permissible? Hope it's not a slippery slope.

Sounds like alot of hassle and runaround. If enough info can't be provided to make a proper review, good or bad, then just keep the bitching in the SI, otherwise the forums are going to become just a big shit show with all the innuendos and backdoor jabs.

Whats always been hard for me to grasp is that you always seem to have the 1 or 2 guys that are constantly on a discussion page answering questions for the said source trying to calm people down and or defending them until their last breath. I've seen it happen lots in all my 4 years here.

I used to miss reading on a certain source that got popped a long time ago, he had the best pickle gobblers I seen in the history of Eroids...THEN the SI you speak of showed up and I was proven wrong. Hey this place is just like politics. You can run a promo and buy your way to the top. I see sources climb to top 10 during and right after a promo, just for it to dwindle back down again. Not saying those sources are no good (to get into top 10 to begin with, you have to be doing something right, inflated review scores or not), but rather a couple free vials to enough people and you can for sure increase your average score.
