Expect the unexpected.

ad

Today is two day after second pin of my first cycle. Currently running Test E 250. Goals prier to cycle where to gain weight and strength. First few days didn't notice much. Maybe a little extra energy throughout the day and increased swelling through workouts. Last couple of days I started to see a few more signs some expected some not. I also understand this Test is not fully going to kick In until weeks 3-4.

First is my weight. I'm looking to increase my weight. I started 1 week ago at 188. Today I was at 194. My weight typically doesn't fluctuate that much nor that fast. I've increase calories from 3500 dly to 4000 dly. I am feeling pretty solid in general. The concern is water retention. My mid-section is looking pudgy, fast. Is this good, bad? Is it something that will level out in weeks 3-4 or when I start AI?

Second, the last two days I've noticed a drop in energy through the day but still have increasing energy through workouts. A lot of yawning through the day as well. I'm guessing this is a sign of my estrogen starting to increase? Unsure.

What you think?

Might want to dial in the diet until the test kicks in and takes over your metabolism. What I mean is sounds to me you increased cals and your body is in adjustment phase of WTF to do. So adjust your diet accordingly until week 4. Try to get your cals in but find your comfort zone, eat most complex carbs you can for breakfast, then after workout simple carbs 30 to 70 mgs of dextrose or vitargo with protien and thats all the carbs you should need right after workout. Then low to no carbs the rest of the day. Sounds like your sensative to carbs and bloat easy try it. You really don't need carbs to much after workout, carbs are your energy and within the 1 hr limit after workout simple carbs for recovery. Other than that you carbs began to bloat you up and hold water until the test kicks in and you are in the anabolic state.

It sounds to me that if you indeed have increased energy at the gym, and you feel your gettin a lil pudgy add a lil extra cardio at the end of the workout...

That's what I was thinking, way to soon. Ive been doing good on water intake. Just trying to convince myself the 6lbs are good lbs.

They are actually! Water load forces the cells to hold more nutrients to a degree.

Just test e or prop as well? Could be a lil tired if blssting hard in gym and types of carbs used. Nips sensitive? Gallon water a day and low salt helps lots with water retention

Test E only. Normally stay pretty lean, but increased carbs to make sure there is enough fuel for the fire. Easily over a gallon dly.

You're doing great. Just imagine all the first timers hitting wild cycles : /

I don't have a baseline to work with. I'm pretty fired up about my first cycle so placebo could definitely be a possibility. Could also be increased carbs(mostly complex). I'd like to keep things clean. But will I still get gains with a high protein(400) lower carb(300) diet? Don't wont to risk wasting my gear.

The best weapon is to learn how your metabolism works, some people can eat carbs all day long and be fine. But carbs are your arson for energy which is preworkout complex carbs then simple carbs soon after workout. If you over carb its gonna make you tired and also bloated and that what it sounds like your doing from what I can see. Protien, protien, nuts and good fats from then on out, and casien protien before the head hits the bed.
