Ive been here for some time and seen many different things go down, but theres one thing that repeats itself over and over again and effects our site more then any other.
its happened probably 25 times, members come on here and build themselves up some karma and then everything changes. next thing you know they are getting free cycles and gifts thrown at them from sources. Noobs are asking who should they buy from and how to run a cycle. and i guess the temptation is to high and next thing you know our high karma members are trying to REP sources under the radar, their trying to sell products via PM or email, their trying to get YOUR money and offer you better deals if you go through them. And then a wise member will come and tell a MOD and we get rid of them and everybody else is wondering what happened to THAT guy that was so cool and helped them out so much. So before it happens again im asking everybody to think about this and DONT BE THAT GUY that gets banned for stupid greedy shit. DONT BE THAT GUY that falls victim to this kind of shit, karma does not mean that a member has any better knowledge of where you should buy, does not mean that he can get you better deals, does not mean that he has some special privilege's on the site, does not mean that he gets to bend the rules.
WE HAVE RULES HERE FOR YOUR PROTECTION, TO KEEP YOU SAFE FROM SCAMS AS BEST WE CAN, PLEASE FOR YOUR SAFTY FOLLOW THEM AND LET ADMIN KNOW IF YOU ARE AWARE OF ANY OF THESE THINGS.

thanks bro. just being honest. you know it takes alot to build a business, and to give out free gear, is waaaaay more than most sources do. Since all these promos started, ive kept track of every one who has sent me free gear, and whether or not i have taken a pic, voted and posted a review. Ordering gear costs alot of money, and when we are getting free shit(postage paid not too mention)we have a duty to the other eroiders on here to post the pics, report how long it took, and what the quality of the product was. Thats it, 5 minute or less, and some sources are sending upwards of 300 dollars in free gear. I agree with banning them, that is bullshit. Im a hustler, but i would never hustle people trying to learn about a subject matter nor do i ever talk anyone into doing something they dont wanna do. Simple as that. And the one thing this site has taught me is encourage other people to do there own research. Don't refer people to sources. Maybe give hints in the right direction, but don't refer people to anyone.
AnonNoid, really just thank you for the explanation. I may sound stupid or naive but quite frankly I had no idea that sort of thing went on. Just like when I found out Papa Swole had been selling advice. I just never imagined people would try to sell you something on a site where all of it is free to us anyway .

Brother we watch and wait and allow enough rope for these pricks to hang themselves in most cases.... selling what was free gear to other members is the biggest piss-take of all..... all offenders will be rooted out and shamed publicly for this offense... new accounts will be flatly refused as we see this as THE worst offense to eroids members and sources...... our integrity WILL NOT be compromised at ANY cost.

GearofWarLol! Damn, wish some sources would throw me some free shit. In all seriousness though I didn't know this kind of stuff was happening. Call me naive, but I guess it just doesn't occur to me to constantly be thinking about shady dealings and how I can line my pockets. I would be thankful enough for free trial gear and feel its fair to rep a source if their product is gtg and review fairly and honestly. Luckily out of all the orders I've made here so far, I'd be proud to rep anyone of the multiple sources I've used. I also don't condone going to a source discussion page to be a fanboy and defend my source to the death, right or wrong. The sources here are all big boys and girls and do quite well defending themselves. But, hey can't say I'm surprised to hear that people are trying to line their pockets because money is a hell of a motivator and some good people will do bad things to get it. It's too bad.
