Calories question!
ad
Okay, so say one were wanting to cut some body fat. Let's say someone weighed 200 pounds. That would mean that they would burn around 14,000 calories a week if they stayed still all week. SO, they eat 1,500 calories a day to come to a total 10,500 calories. Knowing how the body works, that would be a pound of weight loss. Now here is my question. What if that 200 pound person were to eat a different amount of calories each day, but still came to the 10,500 total calories for the week. Would that make any difference on weight loss vs eating 1,500 calories a day?

Yes if the different type of calories consisted of macros adjusted to meet that particular fat burning goal. Higher protein than carbs, for example, 300g protein with 50-80g carbs. Cardio is a major plus , too.
Knowing how your body works is the key. How your body handles and stores fat goes back to your ancestors diet. Some people go into starvation mode very quickly so that manipulating their diet can be disastrous. I always suggest a spoonful of real ice cream for breakfast followed by an Hour of heavy cardio with a goal of burning a thousand calories an hour. After that they can have a high protein low carb shake while they hit the weights. I have had great success with many people as long as they do not vary their diet and stay committed. To answer your question try to balance your diet through out the week as well as through out the day. Cardio is the key for loosing the fat and keeping it off.
Comment.
What most ppl get wrong is that you have to eat your BMR calories for your body to fully work and therefore metabolism to work and burn cals. But eat less than TDEE. That results in a 100% working body aiming to burn fat.
Work out your TDEE.
Eat ~10% less everyday for cut.
PROFIT.
In theory no. Calories in vs calories out doesn't only matter on a daily basis, but weekly and monthly too. But 1500/d is extremely low for a 200lb man, especially on gear. I was having a fine time cutting at around 2,300-2,500 at that weight.
