+ 4 Another rant ,...sort of

ad

I'll try and help ppl understand what's happening here or why this goes on. Most of you know who I am and you know how I feel about AAS in bodybuilding and in endurance (more specifically combat ) sport.

First, why do eroiders always seem to have a negative view of someone younger than 25 using gear. Or a guy weighing 155lbs using gear? The #1 reason has to be because AAS (only one form of PED) was born and bred in the bodybuilding community. Juice is synonymous with getting bigger , stronger, faster. It has a stigma that comes attached that says "this is serious shit and you shouldn't use it unless you've got serious discipline and put in serious work to date!" Most ppl think of steroids being used in baseball and cycling when it comes to sport. That's about it. The ball players used it to get huge so they could put the ball in the stands. Again, huge guys using it.

I think another reason they jump in ppl's shit is a little bit of destain. Some kid who hasn't put the work in, wants to place an order for Tren knowing damn well he can eat shitty and hardly train and the fucker will still make lean mass gains that equate to years of discipline. "It isn't fair so fuck you!" Kinda,...whether they admit it or not.

But most of all, I think they smell BULLSHIT when a guy claims to be a fighter. It sounds so provocative and bad ass! Sticking the non existent chest out as he says "MMA fighter here" always makes me cringe too. And I'm usually the guy who gives everyone the benefit of doubt until they burn me. But I know from direct experience that fighters have a certain demeanor about them that is the complete opposite of what we see round here. This may come as a surprise to some of you but I bet most fighters, while proud of their work , are embarrassed to say or just don't like to talk about the fact that they are fighters unless necessary. See, it takes a little more discipline than average men can muster to earn a brown or black belt in BJJ. Or to compete for a golden gloves state title. They've been through the ringer and their will tested. They know what they are made of. The need to say it online is nonexistent. It doesn't matter what anyone thinks because you know what you can do. We don't see that here. A few case see do. But mostly , it's things like "yeah I'm a MMA fighter and been gettin ready to move up in weight so I'm juicin.

Here is the reason it's a problem. Most educated fight fans (let alone real fighters) know that the science available today allows for much better alternatives to "I'm tryina bulk up to fight at bantam weight". Besides , most serious fighters have strength and conditioning coaches on their team working with dietitians and even chiropractors and massage therapists. All are more important than a bottle of juice. The level I competed at and the time frame allowed for some fuckery. Shady self proclaimed strength gurus Whoooing the trainers into letting them work with the fighters. As recently as the early 2000's, I was being fed stupid cycles and given little solid advice on how to or what I was doing. I had to learn on my own. Eroids allowed that mostly. Well, it came around at just the right time for me. I had begun my search for answers and bam! Eroids is born.

At any rate, it's clear that most of you are full of it and it's hard to help you out when you have a chip on your shoulder to go with the self serving entitlement issues. I have spent years defending guys on here who turn out to be frauds hiding behind the fighter persona. You guys have bigger problems than worrying about muscles. You should be ok with yourselves enough to not give a flying fuck about impressing strangers online. I guess the problem is most of you who do this have always only known the world post internet I think it plays a role. I still had to navigate the world pre-Internet and stand face to face to a person before opening my mouth. It's a different time I guess. But stop using my passion as a staging area for your justification of juicing. Or at least make up a more convincing story.

stl's picture

You are right I remember running into a lot of so called golden gloves boxers, who obviously where not. Most people who can fight don't even mention it.

Nitti's picture

everyone wants to be a tough guy

Not really what I'm saying although I did make sure I put it in there as to say "I see you. I saw what you did there". My biggest issue is with ppl using this cover (I'm a fighter) in response to members here asking them what the fuq made them decide their cycle was a good idea.

Dickkhead's picture

I just avoid fights. I'm not trained, never served in the military, and have no idea in real life who my opponent might be. I have a boat load of "gym" strength but a guy half my size who knows what he's doing just has to kick my knee from the side the right way and I'm done for, possibly permanently. I don't see much people claiming to have experience in MMA or claiming to be boxers on here and it's probably that I'm just not sensitive to it. I see everything through a narrow BB lens and I don't try to advise people in other sports how they should use anabolics cause I don't know. But now that you've brought it up I bet I will start seeing some of it. Most guys in real life don't start shit with me which is fine, but, if I real "small" guy did I'm smart enough that it would worry me.

Pale's picture

I had te pleasure of training with a Japanese heavyweight kickboxing champion a couple years ago for a weekend. He and his training partner/manager were here in the states for a visit and using out gym, they had no idea I had heavy bags stashed. So I turned them on to them and let them borrow my wraps and stuff, but the thing that blew my mind was how hard he could kick. It was almost inhuman how hard it was.I do not know how these guys can receive kicks like that from each other.

Nitti's picture

I have been pretty inactive on here for the better part of the year so maybe things have changed some. But in response to ,...

"I don't see many ppl claiming to be MMA fighters"

I made this post after reading another in this section about a guy who is getting prepped and in camp for a title fight of some kind in a weight class he never fought in. There have been plenty of occasions where minute someone gets called out on cycle choices, they immediately pull combat sport out of their ass and from there it isn't hard to tell who is being honest. A little common sense and my trusty Bullshit detector usually gets it right.
The reason that I made this post was because of the countless times someone asks me to step in and give my $0.02 on a cycle that looks like this....
Dbol 50mg/day 4/weeks
Tren A 100mg/day 8 weeks
Test P 25mg/day 8 weeks
Halotestin 20mg/day final 4 weeks
With no mention of other performance enhancers that may assist in the recovery from a cycle like this or to assist in the training of the fighter. Both signs of bullshit. So I felt the need to speak up and clear up the fact that just because I did things differently than most ppl accept , doesn't mean I am automatically co-signing a crappy cycle for a fighter. Fighters need to concentrate on their technique. Skill is gained by repetition of movement. Practice! Hours , weeks, months and years of beating on your craft. Gaining a few pounds of muscle and bringing up your bench press is not only going to do absolutely nothing for you in the cage/ring. But it will almost certainly hurt you. Strength is a secondary necessity in these sports. So my point is , when I fought the science was in its infancy. A lot of ppl used the early web to capitalize on ppl's ignorance knowing full well the days were numbered where you could pull the wool over ppl's eyes.

if a real small guy did , I'm smart enough that it would worry me

You understand what most ppl don't think of initially. They get to sucking in a bunch of air and making themselves appear bigger to intimidate. The monkey in us tries to do that automatically. Your higher primate brain stops you and overrides the system before some bantam weight has you tied up like a pretzel in the street. Lol.

I'm not sure if I will be to blame for a spike in made up fighter stories and excuses for poor cycle choices. It's already been apparent to me but again , I'm not very active lately. I come back one day and see a post like that. Nothing changed in the preceding months. Mfers are still full of shit

Dickkhead's picture

Yes bro, I'm the big scary freaky muscle dude. I would hate to get my ass kicked - teeth knocked out - knees broken or worse by some bantam weight that I could shoulder press with one hand. I think that the big dudes in the gym that don't know how to fight that go out in public and try to act tough and bring trouble on are gonna get "tied up like a pretzel." LMAO. I thank the Lord that I have more sense than that. A man that's trained and knows what he is doing is very dangerous indeed and certainly has my respect for sure.

Plus it looks bad. LOL I'm supposed to crush the guy and break his back like a twig and he ends up beating the living fuck out of me and I'm on the ground begging this little paper doll for mercy. No thanks. My ego would never recover (my body may never recover as well).

Nitti's picture

Can one of you guys (mods) fix the font on this post? It breaks up the words mid word and looks sloppy as shit. I think it may be my laptop using a weird font. If someone else edits the post , it should change to their default font.

BFG's picture

(pre)formatting happens when you add 4 spaces at the beginning of each paragraph.

Nitti's picture

So basically I separated the paragraphs too many spaces?

Pale's picture

See, count four spaces

Pale's picture

I thought it was weird too. Let me try

MedDx's picture

Bro fist, brother...

I am not a fighter.....but I love it when I am asked if I am one!!!! lol! It had happened more then once. I dunno why people ask. There are plenty of other guys out there with a physique to ask. I guess I have a sunny disposition and so people assume!

On your post. I see the vail of bullshit in other arenas on Eroids and just online in general. Probably more so here than anywhere because the anonymity of this site. You know the types. I may or may not belong to a special unit tagged out of Ft. Bragg or I me long to a team out of California but I can't tell you what it is for security purposes! Just know I'm an official badass! Outside of the information on this site that is useful it is a virtual world. That means your ego can be virtual as well. What's the point in spitting bullshit just so someone you will never meet can pump your ego for a few minutes. You didn't actually earn it so it's meaningless.

Here is the real deal, no active duty operator is going to be hanging on this site for a multitude of reasons. Both job security and otherwise. But the biggest one I know of is, they're too fucking busy living their lives to give a crap about a virtual world!

Stop taking credit for accolades you did not earn.

"I train UFC"

Those ppl who use the above statement are not only NOT fighters. They are also ignorant and lazy. So much so that they couldn't take a few minutes to read up and research the the basis of their lie so they could hold their own in a chat about it. If that isn't the case it's something much worse. They are plain old dumb fucks. If they lack the intelligence to do some reading on a subject they are going to be carrying on a lie about , then they need not be flamed. They should be trolled. Hard! Lure them into deeper darker convos and help entertain the eroids family so ninjas don't start leaving this place for others. Natural selection is a cornerstone of evolution. It's how nature does away with dead weight. Let nature run its course. :-)

The MMA fad is huge right now and I don't see it abating anytime soon. I have been in a lot of fights in my life, there is nothing like that adrenaline rush, but every once in awhile I crossed someone who had real ring training and it showed immediately. I still work the heavy bag when my left shoulder is not pissed at me, but I cannot help but laugh at some of the dudes I know that talk a tough game but do no problem training at all.lol

As far as the young guys. You left out the most important reason why we discourage them and that is because they are likely permanently going to end up fucking up their HPTA and all but maybe one or two of them will never make a dime from it on stage or the cage.

Nitti's picture

because they are likely permanently going to end up fucking up their HPTA

I left that out for the stated reasons. I don't know how much of that is bro-science and how much fact. I know that at the ripe old age of 22, I was getting hit with some of the most powerful compounds AAS has to offer. By the time I was 29-30, I had natty test levels steadily around 900

jm99's picture

Tbh, and I don't like posting this cos I'm kind of worried about a banning, but as long as I've used online forums I've never seen any medical evidence regarding when the HPTA is fully developed and any reasoning beyond it being posted on other steroid forums to back this up. As far as I'm aware there is no way for an endocrinologist to determine when the HPTA is fully developed, not like growth plates which they can tell when they're closed or the like, so the fact that people on a steroid forum assume they know when its fully developed has always seemed strange. In fact as far as I can tell from my research, the over 25 thing goes back to a post on steroid.com (and hope I'm not breaking any rules posting the name of another forum, if I am, I'll edit it), in 2011. Before that people generally accepted 21 as the acceptable age to start (presumably based on the age at which its legal to purchase alcohol in america). On UK forums this under 25 thing doesn't really seem to exist which is because (and again just a guess) that the no one under 25 should use idea, started on an american forum and has simply become accepted as the norm on these forums, not because of any scientific reasoning.

Nitti's picture

I believe one thing there is documentation on is the resurgence of the body's systems after being used and abused. All through proper eating habits. The endocrine system is one of those things. The biggest factor will be genetics. But the point is, the cookie cutter "WARNING! DANGER!" Might be a little bit of woo woo bro-science. I for one believe that if a guy is old enough to decide to buy cigarettes, and alcohol, yet he chooses juice instead , I'm all for it. Smart kid actually

Pale's picture

The policy has not changed.

jm99's picture

I'd say that's probably my position as well. Especially since I believe things like alcohol and the like can be as damaging to the endocrine system (or potentially as damaging) regardless. I think there is some evidence supporting that alcohol is damaging to the endocrine system anyway. On your other point regarding resurgence, again this is something there's a lot of debate on, some people say that those who go infertile or have low test after a cycle were destined to have these problems regardless of use and others say that its the cycle that damages these systems and without exogenous hormones that these people would have had no problems.

Pale's picture

I'm not gonna ban you for this, but next time I look your stats would be best to be filled in. I am not a scientist nor do I claim to be but I do know that I had plenty of natural test at 25.

jm99's picture

Filled them in. I might have been an exception because my natural test levels were something like 12.4 (which I believe is roughly 320 or so in american terms) at 19, which I believe is due to massive weight gain when I was younger (just a theory). You do obviously have higher natural test when you're younger but again from everything I've read, the difference between average natural test at 18-25 is maybe 300 ng/dl lower than at 40, certainly a difference but not really massively significant. Again from what I can tell, even the highest levels of natural test are still lower than 150mg/wk would have you at (mines are somewhere around 1300 at 150mg/wk) so compared to even a basic 250mg or 500mg cycle, even massive levels of natural test are no comparison. Though there may be something to younger people, or some younger people anyway, having significantly higher natural igf-1 levels, an idea I've seen posted on other forums, as to why its easier to stay lean etc. when younger.

Pale's picture

Yea, there certainly something to it. Once you cross over around 30 you start seeing real evidence of things changing, very gradual yet very obvious. I know you younger guys just think all of us older dudes are hating on you but I wish we could somehow show you what we know to be true through our eyes.

Unfortunately some things you just cannot know until you have lived it. Do not weigh yourself down and take advantage of every opportunity that comes by you because there are rarely second chances and time waits for no man.

jm99's picture

Yeah definitely, even seen evidence of this within family members (not ones that train or anything), with the middle age spread as they like to call it haha. Over here in the UK, there doesn't seem to be the same kind of anti-aging focus that there is in america so lots of people just accept mediocrity as they age, so always big respect to any of the older guys who stay in shape (and blown away by the ones who even compete on stage past 40 and the like). Absolutely agree with the second point as well, before I started any test I did always feel kinda shitty, but had just come to accept that, but at a certain point I decided just to get my levels checked and see if I could do something about it rather than simply accept it as part of life, and seeing my natural levels so low did explain a lot, so taking advantage of opportunities is definitely something that rings true with me, from my limited experience so far.

Pale's picture

The other key problem we have had with the under 25 crowd (and I hate to generalize) but they are often spoiled brats and show a complete lack of maturity here on eroids. There are lots of exceptions and they blend in just fine, but the bad ones of the bunch leave a lasting scar.

Makwa's picture

I forgot who said it but what I am mostly seeing from the "younger crowd" is the yo-yo cycling. It drives me nuts. They go on a cycle and blow up and get all big and bad to impress the girls on the beach and party their ass off at the bar thinking they are all big and swole now (I was a bouncer at a bar for two years and this was a daily occurrance every weekend) You then see them off cycle they lose most of it if not more and turn all soft so they hop back on a cycle and repeat. If somebody isn't going to show the dicipline it really takes for this lifestyle, then I don't want to be any part helping them to be a yo-yo. It is a rare occurance to find someone under 25 who isn't a yo-yo, but there are some. If they can portray themselves as someone who is dedicated to this lifestyle, then they are worth helping regardless of age.

Nitti's picture

This "yo-yo" cycling is horrible for the body. It is taxing them not to mention aging them rapidly. It just doesn't become apparent until it's too late. Your health doesn't gracefully decine. It falls off a fucking cliff and smacks rocks on the way down once the chain reaction starts.

tonytulo's picture

Lmfao isn't that the truth.

jm99's picture

I think the generalisation is true, just cos lots of them have seen zyzz and his success with girls and general popularity and feel they want it all as fast as possible. I know I was benching 3 plates even with my rubbish natural test before taking anything, most under 25 guys don't make it to two before they want to start juicing (and no needles cos they're afraid of them).

Pale's picture

One good thing tho is every once and awhile I come across a young dude has his shit together and is on a mission. That temporarily restores my faith in the next generation. Smile

jm99's picture

Yeah, even noticed a few on here, Irongame obviously seems to know what he's talking about, seems to be the most prominent younger poster on here and does seem fairly knowledgeable.

Pale's picture

Sometimes yes...
