+ 3 Section on injuries

ad

As most of us know injuries are a part of this game. I think a section on injuries for support as well as advice would only strengthen the community.

I agree strongly with your post mate as i have had 2 herniated discs of which one was ruptured ( at L5-S1 ) and i required a microdiscectomy to stop the sciatic nerve damage/ pain which virtually stopped me walking some days and i went from being super fit, strong and motivated to a gutted 27yr old cripple due to post operative pains and weakness also a substiantial loss in strength and thus it had a negative effect on my mental state. Picked myself up asap and i ended up researching and now im 8wks into my cycle feeling much better both mentally and physically and has no doubt hastened my recovery as i was weak and miserable now im strong again and positively focused on what i can do, not what i cant... Im still recovering and have to work around my injury so no squats, deadlifts or anything that puts huge strain on a weakened area but damn do i look better and feel better than i have for some time, anyhoo i did a post outlining the cycle and my goals (attainable goals considering my injury) which ive acheived the desired lean mass i seeked and im cycling for 8wks more.
I got a fair bit of stick off people who didnt or couldnt relate to my cycle as im running 250mg of Pharma grage test E p/w and 450mg EQ p/w along with a 7wk stint of anavar at 50mg per day split dose(just finished) so 16wks, proper PCT also, now there were many Eroiders who condemned my cycle but i knew what i was doing in regards to increasing protein and collegen synthesis and the realistic goals and expectations i felt in my sights.
Ive went from around 20% bf 3 wks post op and a weight of 11st 7lbs to 12% bf now at 12st 4lbs presently, i can now go swimming with my lady and daughter and hit the gym effectively for over an hour 3- 4 times a week, i walk my hounds miles a day and make sure to stretch my problematic tight muscles everynigh and im also doing home workouts also incorporating yoga even (works for me) i feel if there were a place specific to injured Eroiders my post and situation would have been seen in a more understanding light and i might have got decent advice instead of a load of un necessary abuse by big ego's looking to take a rookies scalp for not doing the standard cycles and doses of mostly bodybuilders as such and i didnt need the shit i got at the time, weightlifting, Bodybuilding and physically demanding sports obviously puts the human body in danger of being injured i found this out the hard and painful way in the gym 1wk into a bulking cycle.
A place for discussing and finding Eroiders who have experience in similar problems would be invaluable to such as myself and many others and a great idea i wish it had been conceived earlier and i look forward to the future of eroids.
Peace Smile
I found the anavar very helpful for my backs strengthening, test has an anti-inflamitory nature but does decrease at high doses collagen synth and such as tendon/ligament strength... EQ is tops for increasing collagen synthesis even more so than deca and i like the lean mass and i think i got it rite, painkillers masks pain it doesnt fix you, some compounds are un deniably very helpful for recovery.
Good shout!

Damn good idea mate!!!!

I currently have a left shoulder injury. I basically dislocated it but not fully.
After every session I ALWAYS do a warm up now of Rotator Cuff Exercises.
I follow this dudes approach.

Also I put an ice pack on it straight after my workout and tying it with a towel twice a day for about 40 mins. I do these exercises everytime i am in the gym now, before I start anything else.

I'm an old dude 39 years and injuries at my age are quite common.

Thanks bro, I'm glad I could help you out in a small way. :-)
Nothing is worse than a shoulder injury especially when your half way through a cycle.
(Maybe back injury??) but it's all a bitch no matter what!
