OK theres lots of veteran bodybuilders on here that get shredded to the bone every year without fail.
So use guys probably already know what needs to be done to shed that bodyfat, so this probably wont be anything use dont allready know.
Im writing this because im allways reading average guys(not bodybuilders) posts on here wanting tips on losing bodyfat. So here is my view on things!

Everyone on here is going to have a plan or theory that has worked for them or someone else. Remember your an individual and what has worked for them may not work for you to the same effect! Your lifestyle may not allow you to follow what jimmy struthers down the street done to lose 20lbs!

The restriction of carbohydrates does work, it has been proven time and time again that it does, but it leaves your body looking flat and your mood low. 90% of guys try this and fail without implementing smaller less dramatic lifestyle changes first. Yes this is needed to get down to the extremely low levels of body fat which is only temporary for a bodybuilding show or a photo shoot.

Im not going to get into to much scientific detail about diet here or what amount of macros you should be eating. im just going to explain my outlook on a few changes i think works and can get you on the right track to acheiving your goals. i guarentee if you follow these few simple steps you will see results.

Dont cheat yourself, its bad for your character. Get up 30 minutes earlier in the morning and do 20 minutes low intensity cardio, you have no excuses here if you cant do a simple thing like this quit now your in the wrong game! People tell me ooo its to cold outside to go for a jog, or i cant afford a treadmill, i cant leave the kids in the house by themselves.
Buy a skipping rope it costs like £5 and it is a great low intensity work out, or buy yourself a kettle bell these babies will melt the fat away, or if you dont want to spend any money make yourself up a circuit including, sit ups, press ups or any body weight exercise that will get the heart rate up.
Before you start the morning cardio have a whey protein shake which has zero suger/carbs. As these are quite expensive id go with a amino acid drink they are usually cheaper and contain zero sugar. Zero sugar is so important because first thing in the morning after you waken your body is in a glycogen depleted state this means your body will use your fat stores as energy, and also this is when your bodies natural hormones are at there highest and the intake of sugar will create a negative hormanal response which we do not want. Do your weights session then have an amino acid drink then hit the cardio, remember the importance of having zero sugar after and through out your workout. Its ok to consume carbs after your workout.

Now once your in the routine of doing your cardio after your workout and first thing in the morning you will have seen results i can guarentee. Then add in another lifestyle change. I recomend taking a photo of yourself once a week, as the changes are slow and because you see yourself in the mirror everday it makes it harder to spot improvements.

Clean your diet up firstly by getting rid of all the junk food, master this then try and change somethng else about your diet that will benefit you, Try to eat a small meal every three hours if you cant dont worry just eat when you can as long as its good healthy clean food. If you can afford a protein supplement you could add that in. Its not the end of the world if you cant afford it. The main thing is your getting to the gym training with intensity an hitting that cardio in the mornings! Remeber to extreme of a lifestyle change never works 90% of the time. Small changes work best they are easier to master plus when you master one change you will see the results you will start to feel good about yourself and your character will get stronger.

Now you have got a taste for successful results, your hunger for more will grow!
