+ 2 Pct timing... let's remember that everybody is unique and different!

Just writing this to help the community and any new members who could find this info useful.

Blood work has to be your most important aspect of a cycle if you want to remain healthy and prevent damage to your endocrine system. And your cycle doesn't stop with your last pin. It is very important to get this blood work done post cycle, and most importantly very important to try to learn and figure out at what point after your last pin do your hormones really start getting out of whack. If you can figure out that answer for yourself, then timing your PCT will be a lot easier. Obviously it takes more than one blood test to figure out a pattern. So it's not going to happen on your first cycle or your first attempt to figure out this time frame. But time, patience, and a little bit of money are well worth the investment.

Despite what I noticed the general consensus here is, which is starting your PCT about 2 weeks after your last pin of a long ester compound, I must say that first and foremost everybody is different and everybody's body reacts differently. I just noticed a post with somebody saying they wanted to wait a little longer then the average two weeks to start PCT. And a couple of people replied basically saying that is a bad idea... basically calling him stupid. Well... I must say I have been doing this for a long time, like a lot of people here, and my body definitely reacts differently than the average guy here... apparently. I'm writing this only to make a point that the time frame for starting pct can vary and does not need to be 2 weeks after last pin. I personally like to wait 4 weeks. And Here is why...

I noticed early on in my steroid usage when I first started and didn't even know what PCT was (yup, wish I had this forum years ago) that my gyno symptoms wouldn't even start showing up until literally MONTHS after my last pin. Yes my testosterone level would be low, but my estrogen would not Spike until my testosterone level remained low for a period of 1.5-2 months. And that was verified once again unfortunately some years ago when I did something stupid and went to jail for a short time in the middle of a cycle and could not PCT properly. Literally four months later I started getting itchy nipples and feeling gyno lumps. Unfortunately there was nothing I could do. But fortunately, it did not progress too badly.

Like I said, in my earlier years when I didn't know about PCT, I noticed that it was about 3 or 4 months after my last pin before the symptoms started. Back then I had no idea what was happening and I thought my itchy nipples were an allergic reaction or something LOL nope....just getting bitch tits was all it was lol ( little exaggerated, I don't have pitched its but definitely have gotten some gyno lumps over the years)

I have blood work done regularly and I have tracked my hormone levels, and I have found that my estrogen really starts taking over around the 60-day mark. I don't know why this is. Even Being a man of science I've still never understood exactly why it takes so long. Yes I will have low testosterone if I don't PCT right away, but my estrogen remains at an OK level until like I said about 60 days later. Then around the three and four month mark ,(about a month or two after my estrogen spikes), is when my gyno symptoms are in full effect usually.

So for me, PCT after coming off of long ester compounds like enanthate, cypionate, deconoate, etc., starts at the 4-week mark. And I usually run it for a period of six weeks. This way I am disrupting my natural estrogen Spike by running it a couple of weeks into and past that 60-day mark where it would usually occur for me.

"But if you did your PCT two weeks after your last pin then you wouldn't have to worry about that estrogen spiking at the 60-day mark" ....well...

I will tell you right now that anytime I have started my PCT any earlier than 4 weeks after my last pin, like for example I started on day 18 and did the normal 4 week protocol, I have these problems even after PCT. And I have come to the conclusion that my body doesn't need it until at least 4 weeks out. therefore if I started two weeks earlier then when I really needed it, it's not doing anything in that timeframe. Like taking a Tylenol when you don't have a headache. the reason this happens to me ive realized is that my body needs to rid itself of all exogenous and unnaturally produced testosterone and other hormones before I start my PCT. Otherwise it actually hinders the effects of the PCT drugs. And sometimes the hormones can last inside of us for longer than they say or than we planned. Everybody is different and unique! Don't really have time to get into the science of it all nor do I claim to even understand the complete science of it all, I know my own experience and this is just my own personal findings. And obviously it will depend on the dosage used during your cycle. Higher amounts obviously will take a little longer, smaller amounts will be a shorter time frame. I run the same amount almost consistently.( when I am doing consistent on and off Cycles) So my time frame stays the same. That way it's more predictable for me.

The point of this post is not to tell you to wait longer to start your PCT. Nor is it to tell you to go ahead and just go with the general consensus of waiting 14 - 18 days. It is just a simple reminder that everybody is different and the best thing to do is to get your own blood work done and to figure out your own personal body's system. How and when changes occur both during and after your cycle.

So do your homework and learn your own body. Because all we can do here when asked is give our opinions about what we think could or should work for somebody. But without the facts you never really know. Only blood work gives us these facts.

Good post. most experienced members know what PCT protocol works best for them. But this may help some newbies.

What do you mean by the "normal for a week protocol"? Every proper pct protocol I know last longer than just a week.
