Well, he sent me a very lame email response this morning.
Oh yeah, this guy's customer service is good for about ten minutes, then he dropped the ball, then I tried to communicate with him to facilitate first order, then he stopped communicating with me. I gave it one last try with a very diplomatic email last night, then he finally sent me a very bitchey and dishonest email this morning.
Example: I wrote that I thought that shipping was so high as to be risky for a first order with an unverified source and that maybe there should be a cheaper option because priority mail often arrives in only two days anyway. Hell, shipping was going to be 1/3 of my order, and he didn't even have 1/2 of the things that I ordered from his website, so 5/6 of it would've been for shipping and stuff I didn't want!
He responded by saying that "The shipping is 40.00 for overnight something that alot of members love and that i want to cater to vs waiting 4-15 days to see if a product shows. If you can't afford 40.00 then that is a personal issue with your finances."
No. It's not. It was merely a suggestion, and expressing reluctance to send him anything after he'd been so flakey.
The funny part of that is that I've waited 5 days for him to answer me about a question with the order. If he didn't have what I ordered, and wouldn't help straighten things out or answer emails, who's waiting?
Its funny because I don't have trouble with sources. It's all good with everyone I've used (6). And, it's his business that's trying to get going here, not mine. In my business, customer service is absolutely everything! 70% of my customers are those whom I've done work for in the past; and 90% of new business is from referrals from past customers.
This is how business should work: good reviews and referrals make you; bad ones break you. I wanted to do a quick first order with the guy. He should've wanted it more! Lol!

The fact that you added a at the end of your emails did nothing to improve or change the fact that you didn't have two of the items that I ordered in stock and made a unilateral decision about what to substitute it for, nor your lack ofresponse after sending me two emails devoid of any constructive communication.
It doesn't matter to me; this is the process: if a new source is no good, a wise person backs off. If that person is a member of a community like this, he reports his experice to the group.
