Asking for syringes in pharmacies

ad

Lmao.. So I went to a local pharmacy rite aid, I went in.. Too scared to ask for them especially with a long line of people.

2nd pharmacy smaller mom and pop one. I was like for sure they are gonna have some there. So I asked the lady for syringes, she first looked at me all weird like if I was some druggy or ive been juicing before. (never have btw until now) She tells me that she cannot sell them to me. I tell her that i can legally buy up to 10 syringes in cali no questions asked.

She speaks to the owner and he's willing to sell me but he only has insulin syringes. But the look on the ladies face was priceless, seriously i felt all eyes on me at the pharmacy. WTF?? I didn't say it was for roids though but for b12 shots. I even specifically asked 3 cc's 23 gauge 1.5 inches long. But anyways, long story short if you ask in a pharmacy expect everyone to stop what their doing and eye hawk the fuck out of you and everyone will look at you like if you're a druggy. In my case it might have been a case of both, although i have never taken steroids i have a wide shoulder frame. They must have known it was for roids. Well the lady wouldn't look at me in the eye, fucking judging ass bitch.

LOL, I bought mine at a Canadian Pharmacy, but I was doing TRT at the time. So after the lecture about having my doctor do the injections they ordered the pins for me. My doctor would not renew the Test script (got it from a dick doc), so I ended up getting 100 pins for only two bottles of Test. :-)

I just buy them online now, less hassle. I still get my BW from a hospital pharmacy, but I've been getting the out of stock story from them lately.

Lmfao. I had the same thing. Mine was at Walgreens, but I had done my homework. I asked for 25 syringes, 25G 1 inch, 3cc. The guy said "What for?" and I told him I was doing weekly injections of B12, I gave him the name and brand of the B12 and explained how to inject/aspirate. I turned around with my bag of 25 and everyone was looking at me weird. Walmart straight up told me no and I would have picked a fight with them (Tennessee you can buy as many as you want no questions asked.) but some cop was chilling on a bench.

prochemgear's picture

Your better of buying them online

Liquidex's picture

Meh I always get em online. No hassle what so ever, and saves gas too

DiabloStrong's picture

"eye hawk the fuck out of you" hahaha that made me laugh out loud. i know what you mean bro!

Idahospud's picture

Why not just buy the pins, you can get like 25 for $12. I found the guys on this site and have bought 3x from them, pins come in 3 days. Bing bam bong. It's done.

Were I live a well know chain stores that sell everything...Thier pharmacy sells them all the time..They dont even question it. They know, they even got them out of the box in a tupperware for those who buy singles..All of them are like that..No big deal..and thier cheap in price..BD brand..10 dollars will get ya 20, 23 gauge 1.5" and 20, 25 gauge 1"..They are basicly 25 cents a piece..40 pins for 10 buck...This other pharmecy tries and sell them for 50 cents a peice...

moparshawn's picture

i have found them on ebay really cheap...

I use walgreens when travelling. Was recently in MI, and they had these horrible pieces of shit. The needle automatically retracts after the shot, which is a great idea, but the plunger wouldn't slide. Had to put 3cc's in me in 1/2 cc bursts, was worried about PIP.
Another downside is they probably don't have the pin size you want.
Order online when at all possible.

harleazy's picture

I always get mine from CVS certain Stores give me trouble sometimes, then i just drive to the next.

jimmie's picture

At first I thought it was bullshit that it's so easy for junkies to get needles, but the more I've thought about, realized it's better for everyone that they can clean ones... especially us lol... And now I'm amazed there are still states where you can't get them without a script. Just like getting used to pinning, getting the pins became more comfortable. Especially bc I think they know your not using what you're asking for to use herroeen or meff, and here they don't have a right to ask what they are for, and I don't tell them anything.

I was considering doing this but kids from my school work at my local pharmacy at was unsure if its legal to do that in NY. but btw your story is pretty funny

SickNick15's picture

Ya its funny shit...i lEGALLY can walk into to a pharmacy in some states and buy pinz, yet i cant lol. Even though i legally can no one is willing to sell pinz EXCEPT feed stores will for my horses :-). Whats even funnier is that i can walk into the needle exchange and exchange my old ones for free no questions! But i sue cant buy them lol.

I live in the midwest. I have long hair. ( which I keep tied in a knot) with a rubber band.
You cant tell from the front that I have the tail. But once people see the tail , they give me
the stink eye.. Would love to try to buy needles here..LOL.. I'd get arrested on the spot..

online only for me...

Samaritan's picture

I called around until I found one who said on the phone they would sell them even though it violates the state law. Maybe they prefer people not sharing needles and diseases. Anyway now everyone In Town goes there and I imagine they make a little money. I don't live there anymore and my woman keeps me stocked, but I figured calling around is easier than driving.

zabuza's picture

just go in dressed in scrubs or a lab coat lol they will never suspect a thing! I would never go to a pharmacy close to where I live/work though, too much risk of somebody from work/family circle or friends getting worked up over nothing.

GQLabs's picture

I've never had that happen to me. Where i live I can buy as many as I want without a problem. If it's that much of a problem for you just order them online

nunyabizniz's picture

Thanks for all the info. I'm still lmao about the retractable needles. Before reading this, I wasn't sure what size to buy or where to get them. Thanks, I found a 100 count box online 3cc, 23 gauge, 1.5" for $18.22 + $8.47 shipping. That should get me started. Thanks again.

Chainsaw66's picture

guys, these days Amazon sells 'em. simple and fast.

Samaritan's picture

Good dirty or bad dirty...

finafan's picture

tell them its for b-12 shots

crazywhiteboy's picture

I go to tractor supply when I dont get them online. They have a huge selection on needle sizes and syringe sizes. They sell them for "veterinarian use" but they are just as good and sterile as the ones I buy online

jimmie's picture

This afternoon went to the drive thru pharmacy at wallg's, asked for them, gave id and debit card, 4.25 for 10, no questions asked. Pinning myself... lol I couldn't do it, had to call my friend over who's a nurse. I was shaking too much, I've always hated needles...

jimmie's picture

I'm about to start injections for the first time, so I'm gonna need to get some. I live with family, and they usually get the mail before I get home...what's in the box?... I know in this state you can just walk in, ask for them, show id pay and go. I'm still pretty freaked out though lol...about buying and pinning myself. I never knew it was legal to get them without a script until I was picking something up at a pharmacy and the junkie in front of me got some.

Bennyblanco's picture

Well about time junkies were good for something I guess...

Pushit's picture

After similar experience i found awesome local med supplies working from Ebay. fucking cheap as & arrived in 2 days free shipping...

Pushit's picture

God I love Canada. Walk in, buy a box of 100 1" 25 gauge tips for a few bucks ( comes in box ) and than I get the 23 gauge tips attached to the 3ml syringe seperately and honestly never had a problem. I come from a town of 60000 people and I've never sketced out about people knowing lol. Keep in mind a couple years ( or even a few months) down the road, the ol " b12 " excuse will clearly be a cover up and they'll just know, lol.

New York State Expanded Syringe Access Program (ESAP). Allows the sale of up to 10 syringes without a script to anyone over 18. The program is voluntary but all the CVS's in my area are ESAP providers. I haven't actually tried to buy some there...I just get shitload online....

studbolt's picture

Easiest way is to just go the drive thru window at cvs or walgreens, only once did I have some dickhead ask me what they were for so I just drove across the street and got em at walgreens, and as cheap as they are you can just buy the whole box so they don't have to spend time counting them out to attract any nosy managers, plus with the box u get a bunch and won't have to go back for a while

Invictus's picture

I buy them to give my dogs their annual vaccine booster, then if necessary I explain that I prefer to not pay $5 for the same needle at the tractor supply down the street. Typically if I go to that point I start talking about my dogs and so forth. In all honesty I do have dogs and I do give them their booster..... Only once a year though. ;)

Bennyblanco's picture

Best options are the needle exchange (some places dont have it) or just order them online. Since apparently putting a little bit of extra testosterone in your muscle makes u EVIL and SCUM!!! U get a better deal ordering them online anyway lads...

TIP: Back in the day when I was a Remote Control Plane an Car enthusiast. I needed syringes to lubricate small tight areas and servos with graphite. Multiple syringes were needed as they get clogged after the first application.

I only buy from gpz now, but when I would buy syringes in a pharmacy several years ago. I would bring up this story about using them on my hobby cars an planes and BS about it.

-Guido-'s picture

I buy them all the time at the Rite Aid down the block from where I live. What sucks is that the same woman that rang me up before I pinned in September has been ringing me up since lol. I'm sure she knows something is up but she probably doesn't care because I'm obviously not shooting heroin, coke, meth, or pills.

Competitor's picture

Got mine from a needle exchange, they were free!

binary's picture

its ridiculously easy to order them online, so why deal with some pharmacist?

broflex's picture

I go to a tractor supply, they keep the needles and suringes out with the regular stock. No one to ask just grab and go.

I did not know this are the prices fair

I had my first experience with this the other day, I walked in told lady my dad a diabetic and his Monthly shipment didn't come in because of the holidays and he needed extras, they than asked what kind of medicine he takes And I said insulin(my father is truly a diabetic and does take insulin injections but was not reason I went into the pharmacy hehe) and they just checked my I'd and rang me up...only people that really gave me an odd look were other customers In the store but fk em i don't know them and I'm not breaking the law

arlis77's picture

bro i walk in to walgreens.rite aid. cvs..not once have i been turned down a druggie wouldnt ask for a 3cc 23gauge 1inch needle...lol..i say i give my dog shots..works like a charm..sometimes.ill play dumb and even ask how to properly hold the dpg skin before injection him and tell them am nervous,.and the love to tell me how...though i do you quite inncocent...muhahahaha alao there only like 25 cents ..beats waiting for them...some states i heard u could have problems...

Ok, so I was actually successful purchasing pins at a pharmacy today. I got them home and they were BD's, but looked a little different. Ok, so who cares, right? I went to pin my new goodies and right when I was about to pull it out, the fucking needle disappeared. I 100% thought it shot into my ass and I was freaking out for a quick second. I felt of my ass, but it didn't seem like it was inside me. Turns out the damn pharmacy sold me some kind of weird retractable pins where the needle shoots back inside of the syringe. Freaked me out.

fastbacktest's picture

ahhaha never heard about those kind of needles...i would had freaked too

JOEDIEZ's picture

i think i just determined thats its on the individual at the counter. i was told i need to show a script for bac water everywhere. then i called the question in and was told come on in and they ordered it. by that time i had ordered a case from mountain-side. same with pins every one said i needed to show an insulin script then i just walked in a little new pharmacy and asked and we got to talking about sizes etc. he told me the larger sizes are usually for test and gave me what i wanted but he was so expensive i litterally only got a couple. and damn they sell the same stuff at the tracktor supply and they dont care.

94632733's picture

yeah, it is so fucking awkward buying syringes. And it sucks that you can only buy insulin pins, how bad is it to use these anyway? I tried to get my girl friend to go buy em for me but she wasent havin it
