+ 2 L-Carnitine for less Tren side effects
As you may know, a study showed that L-Carnitine-Tartrate dosed at 2 grams increases androgen receptors significantly after 21 days of supplementation.
A week before starting my cycle, I decided to supplement with ALCAR, a form of L-Carnitine. I started dosing 500mg pre-workout, and 1.5g post workout which is exactly what they used in the first study. I'm currently using it at .5g pre and 2g post instead. I'm experiencing some tren sides but nothing extreme.
-The Connection-
It seems like everyone has less Tren side effects when using around a TRT dose of test with it. The reasoning, off the top of my head, is that when testosterone takes up less receptors, there's less trenbolone floating around the blood stream, which leads to less side effects.
If we believe this information, which might be broscience, then it seems like L-Carnitine could further lessen these side effects by creating more receptors thus leading to less tren in the bloodstream.

I'd love to hear your thoughts on this idea and any experience you have while supplementing with this. It might even carry over these benefits to other stacks!

ryohayabusa360personally i feel like it doesn't help at all.
when i tried it i felt no difference at all.
might as well reduce the dosage a bit and see if it helps
what dosage did you try it with? i'm just making an assumption with my findings, i used 140mg test a week and 350mg tren.. they do say something like it takes 21 days for saturation
ryohayabusa360well that depends on the cycle itself.
with high test low tren , the issues stay there no matter what the dosage.
with high tren low test, things should be easier on your body and no carnitine had nothing to do with it.
if you keep the test low @TRT dosage( this is where you are btw) you should be able to raise tren up to 700 without issues...
but it's a personal thing.
heck i know people who run 2g test and 1,5 g tren weekly and barely have any sides besides sweating the whole day like a wild beast
Good post bro! Definitely going to look into this for sure and if Vitamin V says it's legit then you know it is. And I think Gearhead nailed it on the head about the binding efficiency of tren and test. Running tren the first time this spring with a low test base and I'll probably use some proviron also. + 1
My understanding on this is a little different. Trenbolone has a much greater binding affinity than does Testosterone. Thus, the traditional 2:1 ratio of Test : 19-nor that has been the rule of thumb for most of my career to reduce 19-nor sides doesn't work well with Tren. Tren will bind to the androgen receptors faster and more efficiently leaving the excess Test to aromatize and build lavish E2 levels in the bloodstream with all of the welcome ultra-high estrogenic sides. So, if we knock the Test down to a TRT level and then use something like Proviron at 50 / mg a day or so - the provi will increase the free testosterone from the lower level of Test. Just another thought. Learned this from one of our MODs. Tried it and it worked for me. I'd like to try the carnitine and quercetin also as well.
L-Carnitine is an age old trick to help free up receptors thats the reason we see a lot of literature telling us the best times to bomb the body with complex BCAAs is pre and post workout specifically for this reason.... numerous brit BBers (including me) would trade steroids for complex BCAAs they rely on them so much.
Guys that still cycle will hammer BCAAs in large amounts along with a Peptide arsenal to hold (95/99%) of gains after brutal bulk runs.
BigBmajMy new favorite pre-workout is 2 cups pasta, 20 grams BCAA, and cialis.
Cialis gives me a blocked nose bro....... cant breath cant train at full blast!... so i will walk away from that one lol

Nice read. Are you also running a low dose of test, or is it higher and supplementing with ALCAR in hopes of increasing AR as if you were on a low dose of test.

Nice man interested to see how this works for you. My last run on Tren A I ran as close to a 2:1 as I could. Sust at 250 a week and Tren Ace @ 400 a week. Sides were manageable, still had night sweats, and shortness of breath which I also read on your post on that. Great post there as well. I'm always looking on ways to calm the sides. Kinda hard with sustanon. I have some sust 300 and I'm still working on how I'm going to dose it with tren ace. It's my first tren run so I'm probably not going above 400 mg ew. I will probably run it at 300 mg ew at first and go from there. The problem with sustanon is all the different esters. It's good to see you didn't have a lot of sides. I'm probably going to go with sust at 150 mg ew and see how it goes.
That was me, I'm no expert on Tren by any means, fact is I got on it to early, had I been a member here before I probably would have held off. I can gain a lot more on more of a "basic" cycle. Trust me though when I get where I need to with less harsh compounds I'll be back for some sweet T. Extra sugar
Np friend I will continue spreading my thoughts and findings to help everyone. The only side effects I'm having right now are mild aggression, insomnia (I should probably start using melatonin etc), and occasional swamp ass + getting hot. If I can stay cool, then I'm a happy camper. The last thing I want is acne from oily sweating skin! Thanks for reading my other thread too.
