+ 24 My woman wins her first Physique show :)
This was a VERY last minute decision to compete in this show last weekend. This girl has never competed in her life. 18 months ago she was 154 lbs with hardly and muscle. I reconditioned her to 116 lbs by July 2013, then started bulking her up last winter to 142 lbs. Mostly compound lifts and a well planned diet. April 1st we started her cut slowly while maintaining her hard earned muscle. Here she is @ 130 lbs.
We had no intention of her competing this year as we were going to take another offseason to make some adjustments and come in as perfect as can be in 2015 and crush the opposition and go for a pro card. But everyone kept telling her she needs to compete now. We signed her up for some posing classes 1 week before this comp to start getting ready for next year and the instructor talked her into doing this show even though she did not even know the mandatory poses. So in 48 hrs we got her spray tanned and practiced the poses non stop till show time all while trying to drop water at last minute.
@43 years old she took 1st place and get this, won best poser routine! She choreographed a routine last minute that won over the judges!
Needless to say I am very proud of her and the mental toughness she possesses that blows away anybody I have ever trained or trained with. Now that she has got her feet wet next year competitions are a dream that I believe that she will make a reality, and win!

jzagThat sounds like my 5 year old boy. He has a list of about 3 things that he'll eat. My 18 month old however never stops eating. He takes in approximately 200 grams of protein a day. Not really, but he eats a lot.
