I'm a die hard Phillies fan. We are getting old and our core isn't what it used to be. Howard isn't pumping out 50 bombs with 125 rbi anymore. Rollins lost a step. Utley is still killin it but is frail. Doc is done for the season. Hamels and lee carry the staff. We have a few young guns but we aren't the juggernaut that we used to be. Time to reload I guess. It took me 4 years to accept it. At least we got a ring out of this run! Where is your team and what do you think about them this year?

Meanwhile my A's, steady holding the 2nd best record in ALL of baseball, with the 4th-lowest payroll this season, guess what they get? Fucked - fuck ESPN, fuck MLB Network. My team kills it - 2nd year in a row they blow up the Texas Rangers and the Angels, the 2 West Coast Yankees in terms of just buying players instead of building them up through the minors so they just get fucking stolen by the Yankees or the Red Sox or whatever team buys them away / and we STILL hold steady every season and win games and clinch the Division. But no, the media ignores us every fucking time. Classic underdog.
That's my diatribe for the night - fuck the Yanks; they represent everything that's wrong with baseball. They're the Dallas Cowboys of baseball.

AnonBeen a giants fan my whole life. Love the team dynamic play out in Gaints ball. Nobody has a better pitching squad that has been tested and proven like the giants. Our offense is pure team ball. We don't have a power guy. We have Posey but that's it. Nobody else on our squad is a pure power hitter. We score when we need to. We manufacture runs when we need to. And we have a different hero each game.

The stadium sucks though and Oakland is a damn ghetto warzone but you gotta be loyal to your team for life. I myself am Yankees fan. Now before you drop your goo and think I'm a fan because they are an Allstar team, I want you to know that I was a fan during the Mattingly days when the sucked balls. Kansas City royals. Spent 15 years waiting for a reason to look forward to a season. Thought this was the year we battle for first. But instead we are 20-22. Spent years putting into our minor league clubs to build talent. Maybe next year. Our weakness, run production.
