What to expect after gyno removal surgery?
So I've had this insanely annoying childhood gyno that was made worse by gear ( deca ) back when I knew nothing about AAS, I have to really deplete my estrogen to have it not be extremely noticeable even when lean so I'm going to get it removed next month.
On one side its about 50% the size of a golf ball at the moment because my body fat is a little high around 13% gets smaller of course when leaner, the other size is less than 1/2 of that. So basically it's pretty damn bad on one side unless I run like 0.5mg adex or 20mg aromasin EVERY DAY when cycling and I only run my test around 500-600/week. I doubt that's healthy.
Just wondering if I ever have to worry about it coming back from future cycling considering the entire gland will be removed, or if there's anything else I should be prepared for I assume multiple people here have had this done as well. It'll be nice to (I'm thinking anyways) dose my ancillaries and test based 100% upon blood work and not my damn bitch tits. lol.

FantasiathescammerBtw- 60 gyno surgeries is VERY LOW. Id shop around.
AnonIF anyone was wondering about gyno surgery - it's incredible. Just about fully healed now just some slight stiff scar tissue around the aerola that will go away with time. The glands are GONE and I feel great. Even though it's a stupid question with an obvious answer I went ahead and confirmed anyways that gyno cannot possibly return as long as the ENTIRE gland was removed... which a reputable surgeon (get a reputable guy costs more but worth it) with many gyno removal surgeries under his belt damn well better do.
FantasiathescammerFalse. First, its rare for a surgeon to ever remove the entire gland. Typically they leave a small piece in order to prevent cratering. Second, In order to remove all the estrogen sensitive tissue you would have the remove the nipple along with everything else- and even then there are going to be cells left behind waiting to proliferate.
Remember surgeons are experts in surgery- not male breast development.
Gynecomastia dot org is a great reference site as well. PLENTY of repeat surgeries over there.
AnonOh and what I meant by reputable surgeons removing the entire (or nearly the entire as you pointed out) gland was this. I talked quite a bit to my surgeon, we discussed some of the different techniques for removal problems with some benefits of others etc. Nice guy didn't mind actually talking to his patients. There's a lot of people operating, especially in my state more so than anywhere else in the USA, that are not even board certified. Somehow that is actually legal. A large percentage of his clients are men who had the surgery elsewhere and it was done incorrectly, from what he told me a lot of these quacks are basically just doing lipo and sending them home or not removing the entire gland causing all kinds of different uneven fucked up looks. Saw a lot of the before/afters from people he fixed some were pretty bad.
I get that you've assumed I'm an idiot that's cool but I didn't chose my surgeon lightly lol when I'm a little further healed I'll post pictures. He did a fantastic job quacks don't do work this well. You are also correct about 60+ surgeries being relatively low the information I had read was extremely outdated, the number is significantly higher since in recent years this has become his single most performed procedure.
AnonWhoa whoa back up. Clearly your knowledge far exceeds mine on this topic don't get angry over my trivial errors, feel free to correct I encourage that but you seem to have taken offense.... as if I've made this claim positioning myself as some sort of expert lol. If that's how it read to you then my bad not my intention.
What you said about cratering makes perfect sense, some of what I perceived to be solely scar tissue underneath the nipple does feel different than the tissue at the incision site. I'm used to what the damn glandular tissue feels like unfortunately and it does feel like gland directly underneath. For my bad side this would constitute removing probably 95% of the gland if what I feel is indeed gland. I'm sure my surgeon was clueless to exactly why I asked if the ENTIRE gland was removed and if it could ever come back.
Now as for gyno "not coming back" I did word that poorly. To me, a guy that had a straight up small breast on his chest at one point, a small amount of puffiness unnoticeable to all but the trained eye doesn't constitute gyno for example in my book not being technical. Mild symptoms associated with AAS use in general I'm talking the stuff an AI easily sorts out. Prior to the surgery my gyno was always just kept the same with a proper AI and caber. Although it never got worse (or if it did I easily returned it to what was "normal" for me) it didn't get better either of course. I didn't mean it as a technical statement and come to think of it should have elaborated. Someone without basic cycling knowledge could possibly read that and think after surgery they can do whatever and not run the risk of having any further issues.
Really all I meant to do was share my positive experience, not get into an argument about specifics though...
FantasiathescammerIll preface this by stating the I didnt read you entire post above. Sorry if I came off obnoxious.
Anonif you have the gland removed you will not get gyno again
AnonThat is my general understanding and I will have the entire gland removed, It's just hard to look at medical info and not take it with a grain of salt as normal people aren't consistently running cycles. lol. In theory I don't see how it could possibly come back without the gland present. Thanks

PermalinkGood luck man.
I had a roommate that was a heavy dude over 300lbs, got into triathlons and lost 100lbs. He had a lot of loose skin, and also some childhood gyno issues. He was extremely happy with the results he got from his surgery.
His bf% is still over 13 for sure, so I bet the leaner you are the better you'll look. Either way I think you'll be satisfied and happy with the results.
Not a first hand experience, but wanted to give you some good news!
Again good luck bro, and keep us updated on it.
AnonThanks. Does he cycle? If so has he had any issues with it since the removal because of cycling? That's more of what I'm concerned about I guess. Glad it went well for him though
13-14% is pretty high for me I've been nursing an injury only halfway training and eating like shit to maintain as much muscle as possible until I'm training at 100% again, cutting fat is easy for me so I'd rather get a little fat and keep more muscle. I'd say I average 10-12% body fat usually on or off cycle as long as the top four abs are clearly visible I'm good lol.

PermalinkWe're not in touch anymore. He was very uneducated about it, go figure he was the one who advised and provided my first cycle lol, but he did run test only cycles. One with mast e. But I don't think he ever had any gyno related problems from AAS use. Fuck he'd have no clue what to do had that happened. So I'm sorry I can't really answer that question. A member involved more in the medical field I think would be better at answering that question. Hopefully one will stop by.
It is a good question though. GL
AnonHah no worries thanks for the input bro.

PermalinkAnonThe doc I'm going to is highly reputable and I have complete faith in him, he's done over 60 gyno removals I'm paying a hell of a lot more going through him than someone else but it's worth it imo.
This is an interesting read from MUTA:
http://www.eroids.com/forum/general/general-talk/tits-like-bitch
Make sure he's a Plastic Surgeon. Honestly, 60 Gyno surgeries doesn't sound like that many. If you feel comfortable with this Doc and he's shown you plenty of before and after pics that he's done then I would think it would be ok. There are some Plastic Surgeons that "specialize" in this procedure. I had mine done many years ago. He was a boob and Gyno doc. Came out fine. Cost around $2500-2800. I am still prone to getting Gyno. Only the excess fat was removed and not the actual gland. All the best.
AnonYeah I don't disagree with Muta's protocol not at all, read it before, but I have ran a similar one. It worked, but came back over time. Before that I tried a fucked up one with letro and it just came back immediately after. He is the head of a plastic surgery center in a major city, he has a few people under him that also perform the surgery but I made it clear I only want him doing it. He doesn't specifically advertise any specialty, but there are huge numbers of pictures for boob/gyno not nearly as many for the rhinoplasty I'd say that seems to be mostly what they do. I still have to meet with him so I'll decide for sure then next week. When I say 60+ I mean he has over 60 before/after pictures for male breast reduction on his site, I'm sure he's done plenty more been practicing for 23 years but I'll find out. From what I understand being certified by the american society for aesthetic plastic surgery is a higher certification many plastic surgeons don't have, if you look for surgeons certified by both that board and the board of plastic surgery you don't find many - in my area at least and it is a major city. Thanks for the concern bro, I THINK I'm in good hands as best as I can tell. Nothing set in stone yet til next week though when I meet him. This is taken from his site with some details omitted.
"Recently voted Best Plastic Surgeon by ________ Magazine readers for the second consecutive year, _________, M.D. is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a member of The American Society of Plastic Surgeons and The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

If a doc with credentials & experience like that fucks my shit up I'll be pissed.

PermalinkSounds like you've done your homework. It's a simple outpatient procedure. I think the procedure has been fine tuned many times since I had mine done. Maybe they can add some DMT to the Propofol when they put you under. =)
Anonlolllll….. I'm not so sure I want to wake up from an adventure into alternate dimensions to realize my chest was just mutilated
Only if you break through buddy......then just follow the aliens and gnomes.
