Gorillas, what is everyone using to combat high BP? I'm gonna try some GK Cialis but was wondering if I should just go the Telmisartan route.
Amlodipine 5mg daily. Lots of water. I’m currently on test, npp, masteron and gh.

Go the Telmisartan route, its probably the most ideal BP medication there is for steroid users above all the others - Gives you better kidney protection than ACE inhibitors also and there is no danger of the dreaded ACE inhibitor cough that quite a few get. When you read into the mechanisms of action of the ARB's its really quite different and more advanced than taking some Cialis, vastly superior in the way it works and protects.

For sure, pretty much all Tren cycles will probably take you over the safe limit for BP, instant BP and HR rise. Normally a compound will just increase BP but trenbolone has the uncanny ability to bolt up your HR too.
Yea mine went from 65 to 80 on Tren for a few weeks then instantly came back down after. That was on 100mg/week lmao

I have propranalol for high BP and I use a cuff monitor 2x a day to check...
See if you can get some Bisoprolol instead - doesn't make you feel half as jaded mentally and in studies it has been shown to reverse LVH if you have it. Its great for blood pressure and works quick.
How high is high? And it depends what is causing the high BP. It could be as simple as popping an AI to knock down your E2/water retention. Cialis will drop you a couple points. Telmisartan has other benefits than just lowering BP though. Such as protection against LVH.
145/90 resting peaking into 160 during heavy lifting. I test blood regularly and E2 is nice and low.
Yea 145/90 is a little past the wheelhouse of daily cialis. Granted, the combo of 5mg a day cialis + telmisartan is still a viable option. The pumps are nice from cialis and so are the bedroom pumps. You definitely wanna get that down some. You can start off with 5mg cialis and 40mg telmisartan per day. If 5mg cialis and 80mg telmisartan doesn’t get you to a number you’re happy with then it becomes something a doctor needs to help with. As there are synergistic BP meds to use in tandem that’s past my experience to offer suggestions. Not saying you need to divulge your gear usage to your PCP, but just go in saying you’re having some BP issues and get those meds covered via insurance. Then just have them on hand to run during cycles.
Before heart surgery my BP was 172/126, damn near had a stroke a few times

Yes but like I said it has other substantial benefits. There are studies out there on it reversing LVH. So I run it any time I’m running 19-nors as a preventative for heart protection. Even if I don’t need the BP benefits

Left ventricular hypertrophy. Gear, and especially nandrolone, increases the fibrotic remodeling of our hearts when combined with even just moderately intensive exercise. Which then drastically increases the risks of cardiovascular mortality, sudden death, coronary heart disease, and/or heart failure. I guess we can call it extreme athletes heart, where normal athletes heart can be harmless, this crosses it over to the dangerous territory.

Yea man this study mentions reduction and not prevention. So it’s my take on the result that it could be a great supplement addition to those of us on gear who train hard. I personally run it 40mg a day if I don’t need it for BP regulation. But that’s because my BP is already quite low and don’t want to lower it more. I’m a 90-100/60s guy off cycle. “Elevated” BP for me, aside from running DHB, is 120s/80s. Which is where I was my last bulk running Test, NPP, and Primo. Had the 40mg/day in there for prevention of LVH. Not for BP.
