Ended of cycle - muscles gained/strength

ad

Hey, just a wondering - I’m coming to the end of my cycle and it’s gone very well. We looking good and strength is very strong.

When I end my cycle will I keep my strength and the muscles built even if training and diet is on point ?
Will I look the same as I do now… as full as I do now ??

There are so many factors that go into this including what compounds you were running on cycle - were you training very hard as a natty going to the gym for a few years beforehand or were you new to training and then just jumped on steroids, will you be training just as hard when you come off as when you were on gear, what is your natural build like etc? The simplest answer is 'No' you will not keep all that you gained on steroids, otherwise you would of never needed to take them in the first place if you did. The higher protein synthesis level of conversion into muscle from food protein is no longer there, muscle receptors are no longer stimulated and in overdrive and all that water and glycogen retention in the muscle created by the steroids will be lost. That overnight bigness you got at first from taking testosterone and things like Dbol etc will go as soon as it came. However if you maintain a good, high protein and carb diet and still train hard and heavy you will keep a lot more than what you came with in the first place. The idea being that each time you step on cycle you come 2 steps forward, but then go 1 step backwards when you come off then repeat the process again. This is why many people look at TRT and things to keep more off a cycle than going through PCT each time, and effectively crashing testosterone levels for a period where muscle is lost, before getting back on again.

I understand, so putting things into number how much of how I look is lost ? - 50% ? And strength wise how much ??
I was on test c 550mg , primo 600-700mg 12 week, and now mast 600mg 2 weeks in - 20 week cycle.
Also would it be over night loss where people will notice ??

Are you going down the PCT route or TRT / cruise ect … a lot will depend on that. So if your cycling gear you should know recovery and diet are as important as your training. Once you stop your cycle your ability to synthesise protein drops down and your ability to recover is reduced in line.
So to keep more of your gains you need to reduce your training intensity, weights and frequency/time, put your self in a maintenance phase now over growth because maintaining what you gained once you come off is going to be hard enough and growing and recovering like you were on cycle just ain’t happening.
Numbers wise… nobody can give you that answer most of us can’t answer this about our own bodies never mind yours and there’s so many factors involved… if I keep 50% of what I gained on cycle I’m real happy but that in its self is a challenge unless you are cruising or possibly TRT

I’m going down the PCT route. My plan is to keep doing what I’m doing train wise but also listen to my body and rest when I need too. PCT wise what would you recommend?
