Carb cycling and anavar
Female, 33, 5'6", 153lbs, 23% bf, lift 4-5 times per week and cardio 1-2 times per week (30-45 minutes).
Hi I've been lifting and working out for years. I've maintained good weight and muscle, but I want to get cut up.
Currently, I'm 5'6" and weigh 153lbs. I am approximately 23% body fat. I really want to get down to 18% and have tried many different diets and plans and never get the results I want.
I am lifting 4-5 times a week and doing cardio (usually rollerblading 1-2 times per week).
I eat well 90% of the time, but I do have 1-2 cheat meals per week.
I have used carb cycling in the past and it did work well for losing weight.
I want to add anavar to cut body fat and maintain my muscle.
Question is: will carb cycling work well with anavar? How many mg should I take per day? Should I alter the dose based on high carb vs low carb days?
Anyone have a weekly diet plan they can send me???
Thanks so much for your help!

My goal is 18% body fat because I think that will give me the results I'm looking for which is to be cut. If I look cut at 19 or 20% I'd be happy with that too.
I typically eat like this:
3 eggs
2 slice turkey bacon
1/4 cup of cream of wheat or cream of rice
Greek yogurt
Chicken breast or tenderloin
Vegetables- broccoli or Brussel Sprouts
Protein bar or shake
Meat, veggies and sweet potato
I do want to take a supplement to help burn fat. I've been trying to do this for years and I have never been able to get where I want to be. I lose a little weight and gain some muscle but I never get cut up.
Additionally, I'm on a high estrogen birth control, but it's the only thing that seems to regulate my cycle. So, I'm guessing the estrogen does not help with my goals.
I'm really considering the carb cycle diet... Will this help? And if so, how many days do I need to do high carbs vs low carbs?
Thanks for your help!
FR sent ill take some time out and help you , im currently prepping my wife. If you want the help ill give it.
Hi tony I would absolutely love and appreciate that! I'm willing to do whatever I need to do and I can follow a diet, just need to know what to eat and when. Thanks u so much!
AnonYou just hit the jackpot on this. Listen to him- he will get you squared away.
What is a day like in your current diet? How much fat protein ect? What was your regime when you were carb cycling? What's the calorie count of your cheat meals? In my humble experience, the female body is much more sensitive to every calorie you put in your body..if I ever want to see results, I have to stick to a diet plan hard core. Measure everything and know exactly what you are putting in your body. I tried anavar and honestly, it did not help me lose weight. The diet plan and cardio sessions I was doing with it did.. all anavar did was cause me to gain weight in muscle, it was not a fat burner. And I would definitely listen to kali, she knows her stuff
Anon;) nice to see you posting more!
Thanks ;) like helping the ladies around here out, being so few of us and all!
As a heads up to any mods, i recommended she pop by the ladies lounge with her question as I thought she would get a lot more answers here as opposed to the original section. If anyone is to be penalized for the double post should it come to it, make me take the hit.
PSUDiva, I hope you find the answers you're looking for, lots of knowledgable women in this section. Absorb what they say like a sponge, you'll never regret it. Best of luck!
AnonAnavar isn't going to cut your body fat... In fact you're going to feel thicker... Diet and cardio will cut your body fat.
You carb cycled before and lost weight, but still weren't satisfied with the results? Am I correct with this? Why 18% bf also? Are you just attached to that percentage or is there reasoning behind it?
If you have tried different diets and aren't satisfied, we need yo look at your diet and cardio. Right off the bat, we need to define what eating well 90% of the time means. What's your intake for a typical day? Second, cheat meals, when implemented correctly can help 'rev' your metabolism.. But if you aren't dieting hard, it will not have this effect... For you to truly drop some bf you will need to cut the cheat meals and just embrace the suckiness of dieting... Hunger is part of the game, as is dealing with the mental aspect of dieting... Cheat meals are often more mental/emotional than anything. Third, cardio is extremely important... I'm not knocking your rollerblading, but you may want to start more serious cardio, multiple times a week- depending on how serious you are about dropping the weight, I'd suggest daily cardio. Fasted cardio and HIIT are two things you should look in to.
There's tons of anavar posts in the LL for you to read up on, but I'd hate to suggest you hopping on the bandwagon if it isn't going to help you to reach your goals.
