How many times can you stab that vial?

ad

Hi guys. I'm new here. I've been on TRT for around half a year. Never did steroids when I was younger, just trained hard and ate as well as I could. At 150 mg of Test Cyp a week (divided into Mon & Thu doses) I feel good and my physique looks as good as it did in my 30's. At least I think so ;-)

Here's what's on my mind:

A 10 ml vial at 250mg/ml lasts me around 4 months! o_O

10 ml x 250 = 2500

2500 / 150 = 16.6 weeks

number of times a draw needle goes through the stopper: ~ 32 (I try to stab through the same hole each time)

Will the stopper self seal enough to keep bacteria out? Maybe I'm over thinking this...

In order to maintain the bottles integrity it is best to pull a vacucum grater than the initial deposit. Upon your first draw you will add a little more air to the bottle then the amount you draw leaving behind a positively pressureized bottle. 32 sticks of a moderate gauge needle 20-22-25 will weaken the stopper but will not allow any particulate to pass thru. If the stopper begins to show a rough texture it's time to change bottles.

I use a 20g & stab it more times than I should, but never had any issues with debris or leakage . There have been times, to save money I blend different chems in one bottle, as opposed to blending in the barrel.

yeah i only use 21g to draw if its above 300mg/cc of anything so using a smaller gauge is good. ive had some 25ml jugs that i draw 1cc from ... totaling 25 stabs, and even though it looks like its been through a meat grinder it still holds up. Swab the septum every time with alcohol.

You should be ok for pinning like everyone says below but I like to get 2ml vials or amps for my TRT

thats what the stoppers were made for so you should be ok

As long as you don't use a gigantic needle you should be fine..22-20ga works fine for drawing.. I've even done it with a 27 when I lost my drawing needle LOL works but slow

Thanks for the input. I use a 21 gauge to draw, and a 25 to inject. It takes me a bit of time to push a mere 75 mg through a 25 g. I think I'd have to take the morning off to draw and inject with a 27 g. LOL.

i dont use a draw needle, i always draw and pin with 25g. it takes a while to draw the oil but its fine.

That's good to know! Thanks for the response. I'll give it a try sometime.

make sure you put air in the vial with the needle to make pressure inside of the vial
