Food Poisoning & Norovirus cases ....

ad

Although this is for the U.K, it just goes to show how much Dining out and eating takeaways accounts for food poisoning cases etc. Basically bad hygiene and contamination in kitchens and I guess not knowing what goes on behind closed doors. I've never had food poisoning from Supermarket meals or cooking at home - It's always been takeouts.

Who knew Raspberries were a culprit?!

Its to do with how these takeaways store lettuce, if you go to a regular takeaway joint, you'll find lettuce in a steel container in a draw?! And so much is in there for their burgers you don't know how long or how old it is.

Is it that they don't wash the lettuce before using it or it becomes contaminated over time at the takeout?
