I'm a sous chef so why not
SO i figured I should probably try to contribute since I am a sous chef and all...
I figured I would start a thread for people who want some recipes for good food but dont know how to cook. I'm gonna start off with a recipe for protein pancakes and maybe if this thread picks up you guys can give me some opinions on items you would like to know how to cook or make better:
Protein pancakes:
1/4 cup rolled oats, or more to taste
1 sweet potato
4 large eggs
1 banana
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup vanilla whey protein powder, or more to taste
1 tablespoon veg oil
Directions
Place rolled oats into a food processor and grind to flour. Place sweet potato into a large pot and cover with salted water; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer until very soft, about 20 minutes. Drain.
Blend sweet potato, eggs, banana, and milk in a blender until smooth; pour batter into a large bowl. Stir protein powder and ground oats into batter.
Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over low heat. Drop batter, about 1/4 cup per pancake, into the skillet, and cook until bubbles form and the edges are dry, 3 to 4 minutes. Flip and cook until browned on the other side, 3 to 4 minutes. Repeat with remaining batter.
makes around 24 cakes... enjoy!!
you can also use a whisk instead of blender

serious snack when you have that sweet tooth
That would taste a whole lot better and be better for you than the majority of protein bars(shit bricks) on the market. With a scoop of fudge brownie protein powder.
tweak and add as you must. Fudge brownie mix sounds wonderful! This is a nice go to snack when you're trying to get over cravings. We all have them! why not make it taste good. thanks for the input
