Why I'm a big believer in the IGF-1? I've been using HGH for many years now, with a few weeks breaks between the cycles. What was always bothering me is water retention with dosages over 3-4 IU's/day. Puffy face in the morning, excessive sweating while working out, increased heart rate etc. When I tried the Insubolic in April 2020, I was expecting the same thing to happen, but no, I was getting leaner, my endurance was through the roof, no sleepiness during the day, the product was delivering the effects I was expecting from HGH without the HGH side effects.
A few years ago, my doc put me on beta blockers, right now I believe that's due to water retention from HGH, as not only our biceps and chest retain water, but other tissues may do the same : heart, prostate. If you ever noticed frequent urination while on HGH, that's may be the reason. I stopped taking beta-blockers last January, did full med exam while I was on IGF-1 + HGH, my BP, HR etc were normal. To me, if I had to choose between HGH and IGF-1, I'd choose IGF-1, but IGF-1 + HGH is better than IGF-1 or HGH solo for sure.

Awesome. On the non-training days do you take at the same time as gh? I split my gh am and pm and am wondering about timing. I have some on the way.

You’ll get a lot of theories and here’s mine; it’s not so much my theory as my endocrinologist who logically took me through his best, educated guess and it’s all sense to me.
1) hgh in morning because most hgh is released in the earlier to mid part of our sleep cycle. A morning administration will give hgh at a time when it’s least present naturally, and will leave the most time from our majority of our natural pulse late evening without much chance the igf-1 from that morning’s dose will have feedback that will reduce any natural surge except the relatively unpredictable 3-5 day pulses that are 20% combined the 24 hour natural release. Sacrificing one or two of those interrupts the feedback least.
2) morning is the most fasted state you’ll find in a 24 hour circadian cycle so take advantage and try and wait 120-180 minutes before eating. Even 30 mins before eating is better than having food in the system at administration. The hormone helps determine where and what fuel source is needed and glucose, protein, fat in that order are ordinarily assigned for uptake, unless fasted state administration leverages the igf-1 release snd distinct hgh function that affects insulin secretion. Insulin without glucose necessarily causes the body to begin using the fat as the fuel for the brain, second in important is the fuel in muscle tissue and protein uptake when fat stores are not tapped will occur, so clear the cause for the decision and leave your body fasted where the most reliable option is the stores of fat for fuel the body will tap. Fasting gives the most fat loss. Morning enhances the chance hgh will be administered in a fasted state and maximizes this metabolic shift.
3) cortisol, a hormone we experience surging with some small release of glucose 30-60 minutes before waking is what helps us wake alert and oriented for the day. If you don’t wake like this your cycle is off or your quick little glucose release isn’t cutting it. That occurs before we wake and so shortly after waking most or all cortisol and glucose are gone, hence hgh has ideal place here. However, if you begin to feel burned out or stressed and have that cortisol related afternoon release you can time your lunch a bit late or early (or time restrict the first half of the day) and hgh will calm you down and quell that cortisol - a nice little trick to get the well-being and extend your calm, focused “flow” a little longer. In that case split one hgh admin 30 mins after waking and ideally eat 180 minutes before the earl/late afternoon when you have your own time of cortisol surge. One of those or both should be optimized if you hit it pre workout. Late afternoon it’s time to eat, and it’s time to eat if it’s earlier either way if you got a weight training workout in because fueling aminos and b6 before workout and lots of protein and then a healthy meal shortly thereafter is a good practice with or without hgh, especially when fasting. Cardio isn’t as crucial but go by your body’s feel - the more consistent you do this the less the criticality for this stringent workout and refuel timing.
4) while igf-1 will not shut off hgh it does have a more than negligible negative feedback and there’s more complexity to it but simple rule here is exogenous igf-1 probably has a thirty minute serum half-life at most, does best with a full stomach and so I hit the 100mcg Insubolic just as I begin to eat my meal post workout at that late afternoon weight session but sometimes with dinner. The thought is that a hgh pulse might be lost or cut down but it’s gonna be a fraction of the hgh you used pre workout and if you’re working out for hormone optimization it’s got a bonus pulse 45-60 mins of hard weights anyway, but either way just use it as you take your first few bites of your real meal post workout or later with dinner if that’s when you’re using the hgh (if you’re workout is after work and before dinner and hgh has no fit in your day till then it’s okay but try to get it in as early as you can and protein at end of workout with dinner after you shower and get home, ideally hitting igf-1 and starting to feed 30 mins after post workout protein. That igf-1 will suppress any further natural daytime hgh pulse but will also clear your serum fast and depending on how regular your meals and sleep schedule is the nighttime hgh 80%+ endogenous pulse is not likely to fall prey to igf-1 4-6 hours earlier, especially if you’re gym session left you in need of sleep to capture your best recovery time that first half of the night. 4-6 hours later and you’re 12 or more fasted and no hgh since it was a couple hours into your night of sleep; this puts you back at step one.

Any thoughts or tweaks here are welcome. This is a expert’s opinion but admittedly remains proud he’s not expert in using these medicines for body composition…metabolic health and reducing risk and feedback regulatory throw off is our shared interest, however.

Yes I do, but only out of sheer laziness/convenience... I recommend checking out the roidsource forum for timing protocols and feedback.
