+ 1 Gonna miss some time in the gym

ad

Tripped over my own feet and instinctively tried to catch myself by grabbing a wall and ended up putting my arm through a window. Ended up with 5 stitches in my arm, 5 more in my right ring finger and a few small but deep cuts on my thumb. Probably looking at missing two weeks in the weight room but maybe less. I am going to nurse these mf'ers like new born babies and try to get them closed up as soon as possible. Wish me luck and pound an extra rep for me!

That's a tough break. Listen to your doctor and don't push it. You're going to prolong your recovery if you do push it. A few weeks break will help you recover and I have found that it also helps your training and gains as well. Best of luck

Legs mate.

Like I said below, if it was just the arm I could work through that but my finger tip is cut down to the bone. I can't bend it, get it wet and it throbs with each pulse. I'm doing cardio twice a week and some body weight only/plyometric exercises and abs but that's about it until I have some grip strength

You can still go to the gym. Maybe some leg workouts and cardio

I'm doing cardio twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening but I do that outdoors with my dog. The arm isn't the problem, it's my finger. That son of bitch was cut so deep at the tip that I could see the bone. It literally throbs with every pulse and I cant bend it yet.

Damn man I hate that for you. I am thinking that two weeks will be a worst case scenario but I am definitely going to err on the side of caution. The last thing I want to do is get in the gym and get a big pump going and open the big cut on my forearm open again. I lost a ton of blood too, it took a full 4 days to get back to feeling normal energy wise. I was extremely fatigued for the first few days. This happened a week ago today but I have been having so many issues getting into the site that I just now got the pic up. Missing the gym and eroids for a week has been damn near torture!
