Start pounding the omegas with every meal to help with HDL. Var is notorious for that. Whose test are you using? It looks good.
I’m using eighty7 test and var. Do you think I should stop var for 3-4 weeks and start it again the last 4 weeks of cycle since my Hdl is low?
If you are going to quit it just quit it all together and be done with it for the cycle. That is the problem with orals, they trash everything and are good at doing. You either live with the consequences of running orals or just don't use them if not willing to take the risk.
TricepatopsHDL is low which usually means Var is real. I know for me it drops mine low and when I go off it goes back up. Estro is high but if you have no sides and feel fine then I wouldn't mess with it. I though also advise getting it checked when off cycle to see where you go when off cycle. You could just have higher levels of estrogen and you aren't affected. Some may not agree but each person is different and my normal is always in range where yours isn't. That's why bloods before during and after are important. Plus 1 for the bloods though.
Ok great so do I need to worry about HDL? Thanks for the reply btw!
TricepatopsI would get it checked again soon if you stay on Var you don't want it to go lower. I also would get something that can help raise HDL. It is something for sure to keep an eye on. What I would do is drop the Var for at least a month and get HDL tested and if it goes back up close to normal then you could get back on. For the last 4 weeks or so of cycle. HDL is essential to cleansing out the Bad cholesterol to help prevent you from getting cardiovascular problems, stroke , heart attack, etc.
Add some extra virgin olive oil, coconut oil, purple colored produce, eggplant, blueberries, or blackberries. Those are a few ways to improve HDL . Also if you smoke quitting is the best way.
His ratio HDL:LDL is actually great. So I’m less concerned especially not knowing his baseline. And the low dose for only two weeks. I believe Llewelyn had some studies notated in Anabolics that doses under 30mg daily did not always significantly drop HDL for men or raise LDL. But again that would be genetics dependent. And they were small studies. But definitely a good idea to check lipids again after a month of being off orals to get a new baseline and compare. He could have a mutation in Lipoprotein A like I do causing low HDL at all times. My dad has it. Sister has it. My HDL is rarely over 30. But LDL is also rarely over 90 and total has always been under 120
TricepatopsThat's why I suggest he get a couple tests to see if it is genetic, as high cholesterol runs in families my cholesterol runs like yours in a way but when I go on strictly TRT after being off for a month or more I can get it above 40s. HDL is essentially a cleaner you could say of the bad LDLs. Also i was just wondering if the Var crashed it that quick in two weeks and maybe it is a AAS his body doesn't react to positively. Would have been cool to see his bloods before cycle then we would have a good answer.
Need help with what exactly bro? Interpretation?
Numbers look good overall. You’re a pretty high converter for that dose of test but idk what your baseline was. With absolutely no symptoms I wouldn’t worry about the estrogen being high especially since we don’t have numbers to compare to prior
