What PEDs do you guys think MMA fighters are on?

I would guess that atleast 70-80% of MMA figthers are on some sort of PEDs. I wonder which ones they would be taking, maybe Test suspension, some peptides for healing and something to stay low body fat % while retaining muscle mass? MMA fighters are doing sooo much cardio nearly everyday for training, how does a guy like Kamaru Usman retain his muscle mass?

A little unrelated but the old school fighters had some of the most impressive physiques around in my humble opinion. My guess the old school guys blasted year round with test and deca. Mark Kerr looked phenomenal and could scrap with the best of them.

All the old-school guys were juiced out. Don't forget mark Coleman as well.

Fucking shamrock looking insane. The photo of Mark Kerr is my goal physique. Apparently Mark Kerr would be on grams and grams of AAS with growth in there too.

Vitor at 19 y/o

You only get a neck like that with a wrestling background. Guy is swole

ladykiller's picture

OMG. That dude was on GEAR

-Exspiravit-'s picture

Vitor just fought evander holy field in a boxing event. He's been running gear his entire career. His body looks EXTREMELY different from time to time.

GrowMore's picture

They didn’t test in many federations back then.

ladykiller's picture

Yeah I remember, long before USADA came into the picture, no one was tested for shit. No doubt they were all on something

EPO for SURE...Examples of fighters who have been caught using EPO are Chael Sonnen, TJ Dillashaw , + Kamaru Usman has been accused of it.. The reason that so many fighters use this specific drug is because EPO helps gives you an insane amount of energy levels helping you go to the gym 2/3 times a day. It also massively helps with recovery so these fighters are able to do their work out and their body will be ready to go again tomorrow in peak condition. Jones tested positive for tbol before...Silva for hgh ...(I really believe he was using it to help recover from the leg break) Stephen Bonner tested for masteron when he fought Silva...look at the pics of that fight...Bonner never looked so hard and dense before (no homo).

ladykiller's picture

For sure! I wonder if they have switched to ITPP!

Sasquach07's picture

Jones also popped for masteron

whats the benefits of that?

press1's picture

Some people do get quite good muscle and CNS strength from it - its basically a weaker Superdrol without sides. Well you do lose your hair but who gives a shit about that LOL

-Exspiravit-'s picture

Well, probably used in conjunction with cutting weight for the fight

Anavar and Halo

press1's picture

I know a few guy's who compete high up in MMA - Test E and Deca/NPP are the main oils of choice along with anavar occasionally. Oils are around the 500mg/wk mark for each compound.

ladykiller's picture

Do they not get tested? How do they get away with it?

press1's picture

I also asked this at the time months ago lol I think the answer was its only really done in the off season or when specifically not competing. I think some of the federations they fight in don't test either, a surprising amount are at it though but like BBing don't freely admit to it.

ladykiller's picture

Damn aha, I‘ve been thinking of doing either a test susp + Anavar cycle this offseason or RAD-140 + GW or some peptides

MMA has fought massive resistance to get legalized, and support is hard to get. Unlike American Football, where players can actually get a BA degree without being able to read and write, MMA would be driven out in a single flex gesture by a senior politician. I don't think they could honestly get away with it. Yes, they do, but not as wide open as mainline sports. Martial Arts also starts as a discipline, so the complete foundation is more responsible. I would bet their list of PED's is much more responsible than the average joe.
