While I could make some sweet money in the short term doing it like that, this would ultimately kill eroids.com. I can't afford that, eroids.com is my baby.

In the same realm is it in a mods best interest to push an eroider towards certain sources on eroids which eroids has a promotion going with.
Mods have NO REASON and are NOT ALLOWED to push a source publicly. Of course if you ask in PM, they'll most likely tell you who their favorite is. -

This is an awesome thread! I'll put my critical thinking boots on every so often and come up with a good'n for you.
For now, how about this: It seems as though some degree of scamming and other such shenanigans are happening to people despite their being a clearly marked leader board for reliable sources. Would you say this is simply because the industry itself is not regulated or bound by law, or is it more than that? Are there people (at least in the short term) getting away with conning people within the site and even successfully raising illegitimate sources to higher rankings? People discuss this topic in other threads but its the sort of thing worth hearing from different angles. Thanks in advance.
Luckily for me, my source is what led me to ER and so I didn't come here needing one right away. That'll come later when I've hand plenty of time to digest the true nature of this site.
I'm not a fan of unnecessary apologies but I have been here only a few days so if there is need to rip me more than one ass cavity, i apologize. One thing I've learned almost immediately is that this site will keep me humble and on the appropriate peg.
Enough of these posts. We (members) don't need to keep justifying ourselves to you or the outside wannabe's and the butt hurt eRoid castaways.
We try our best and we are pretty good at catching issues and even getting things rectified from time to time. We are not perfect but we are the best out there. Over the last 10 years, eRoids has cultivated a very active community of both buyers and sources each looking out for the other. IMO, it has gone beyond the original vision or "mission statement" if you will.
Best thing for you or anyone is to sit on the sidelines and get to know the personalities. It'll become clear who and what can be trusted and very evident that eRoids is the real deal.
These potential "scamming sources" and their shenanigans just sponsored our latest EBC to the tune of $44,000 dollars. You're not going to see that anywhere else.
Fair enough Greg thanks for your input. Im seeing now that I was hasty in posting and commenting. I'm going to spend some time soaking it all in and understanding the community better. Everyone here has been pretty friendly and honest which is welcoming and appreciated.
