Eroids was created with the purpose of being a AAS Review site. The goal was to level the playing field between buyers and sellers. While it has grown in many directions since then, our main purpose is still focused on the reviews. Inevitably, there will be some that will try to find ways to cheat the system for their benefit and at the expense of other members and sources. Just about every company that allows reviews is plagued by this problem (i.e. Amazon). This destroys the integrity of the process and can ultimately harm members safety.

Our most important job as Mods, with the assist of valued Members, is to find these cheaters and wipe them out and I think we do a better job than most in finding them. Over the last few days, we've been investigating just such a group.

There are a few dozen members (well soon to be former members) that have been getting paid by sources to write fake reviews for orders they never made and products they never received. In some cases, the reviews were actually written for them to post. The list of these members is long and some you may know. In speaking with a few, there was genuine remorse for what they did and willingness to accept their fate. The list is long and I don't see much value in publishing it because their fate is sealed.

It's the sources that we should really be concerned with. These are the guys we trust to provide us with safe products. We make our decisions based upon feedback and ranking. These sources have lied to all of us.

Each one of these sources has paid for reviews. In some cases, the fake reviews represent the majority of reviews within the last six months. As a result their score will be reset to 0, votes deleted and they will be permanently excluded from future promos.

The Mod Team would like to thank the vast majority of our members and sources are honest and ethical. Unfortunately, there's always that one or two that tries to work the system for their benefit. We will find you!

EDIT: At the request of many, I am going to publish some of the names that are involved and not banned yet. BFG taking care of that. Another 25-30 have already been banned.
