So I decided to compete in another strongman comp end of July. I’ve been lifting extremely heavy again to get back into shape to compete at a high level. My routine looks like this.

Monday
Over head presses
Incline bench
Triceps

Wendsday
Truck pull till failure
Biceps

Friday
Dead lifts
Lat pull downs
Work with stones
Keg carry

Diet and calories are as follows
9500 calories
8 meals a day
600 mg of protein
Lots of eggs and chicken and beef
Brown rice and cottage cheese

Sitting right now at 315 pounds would like to be a solid 345 by comp time

Cycle looks like this
Sust eod
Decca 3 days a week
I will run halo last 4 weeks up to comp day

Jesus fuckin Christ... animal!

All impressive but I think the diet is the most impressive part. I’d have to eat on the shitter lol

Good luck ol’ timer! Kill it.

Side note. Why not just do the deca eod with the sust? Or would the volume be too much? I like low volume so I get that. I’m doing eod pins with Enanthate and EQ right now for that reason (and stability as you mentioned) so I don’t think it’s weird, just curious I guess why not just knock it all out at once instead of having 2 schedules going?

Wow: to all of it! Very best of luck to you!!!

Question: why deca 3 times a week, as opposed to once or twice?

Best of luck. Your diet is impressive, 9,500 calories!!! I know what it takes for me to hit 7 meals and 5,000 calories, then again I'm not a 300+ lbs. monster.

You are nuts to give it another go with bad knees old man.....Just wrap them. Try to be careful and do the overhead presses sitting if you can. The keg carry and truck pull might wreak havoc on those knees too.
Whatever you do pay attention to if you feel the tingling.

Either way good luck man and grab that trophy. Its got your name on it already.

Seems like a serious approach to me, well done, 9500 calories, think that’s the most I have ever heard someone eating on a daily basis lol
How does Halo make you feel, any noticeable strength gains, increased levels of aggression??
