Today is chest day. What are some good excersises?
Want to change it up a bit. See if I can find something that works better.

Want to change it up a bit. See if I can find something that works better.
I personally do 3 presses and 2 fly variations. Something like:
Incline BB bench 4 sets
Flat DB press 4 sets
Decline Machine 3 sets
Incline DB flies 3 sets
Cable flies 3 sets
JayD718For training chest, I personally like to do 4 different exercises, with 4 sets on each. I do like to switch up my chest exercises, and sometimes I'll just switch up the order. I like to stick with a lot of dumbbell exercises, although barbell and some machine exercises are good to include as well. Some of my tried and true chest exercises include:
-Dumbbell Incline And Decline Chest Presses
-Barbell Or Dumbbell Bench Press
-Dumbbell Fly
-Dumbbell Incline And Decline Fly
-Hammer Strength Incline Presses
-Different Position Cable Crossovers(Great for a
Last Burnout Exercise)
-Butterfly
-Various Smith Machine Presses(Close grip, Wide
grip, etc.)
These are some great exercises, that will put on good mass, but one of the most important aspects of weight training is eating correctly. If you don't give your body the necessary amounts of food, water, nutrients, and rest, then you'll just be wasting your time!

basskiller89A good home exercise I found is the grapefruit squeeze. Basically you take a grapefruit and sit down on a chair. Place both palms on opposite sides of the grapefruit with feet planted firmly on the ground. Begin to press both hands together against the grapefruit and squeeze your chest as you're pressing against the fruit. This really tears up a lot of muscle fibers and is a great post workout finisher or pre workout exhauster. As you get stronger you'll be able to mush the grapefruit. When this happens you can do pineapple presses but you may need to wear gloves to avoid the prickles
They'll be looking like Kai Greene in no time. ;)

Dominick77Pre exhaust with flat dumbell flyes, 3 sets. Then incline barbell press, 4 sets, then dumbell flat presses 4 sets, incline dumbell flyes, 3 sets superset with close grip barbell bench 3 sets as well. Then to really kill it...finish out with diamond push ups. 3 sets all to failure. "Heavy" is relative to the individual so keep the rep ranges in the 8-12 zone and you should be golden. Try reverse grip bench press, can’t go super heavy but does hit some different muscles!
Be careful it’s a little awkward at first
I bet i couldn't lift 100 pounds backwards...gonna try this with the bar lol first time won't be pretty
