anterior delt serverly strained

ad

need some workout advice, saw my osteopath last night had some various issues, vertebrae out of place (dunno how that happen) trapped nerve behind shoulder blade, both of them he sorted straight away, but lastly a serverly strained left and anterior deltoid, he told me no training for 2 weeks but if do just light training and usual ice it ect, now my question is what can I do that's not gonna aggravate it further, I was thinking of just missing shoulders, back and chest, and doing legs and arms, opinions please guys,

When I tore my labrum last year I also was complaining about my back they the mri showed my t spine was starting to curve the wrong way and cause little disk nodes so shoulder and back issues go hand in hand. My traps were actually overpowering my upper body and pulling it straight causing a host of issues in that area. I did little to nothing for while and eased into it with simple single joint exercises. I don’t don’t train traps after that. I’ve been experimenting with 50-100 rep training and it seems to not cause any aggravation. Plus I’ve never had my delts sore like this before

I did my right rc last year dude could barely lift my arm but strange as it might sound I ended up with bronchitis so the training i missed I didn't notice cause my breathing was shot, but I dropped loads size, this one is bit annoying as I've I gained back what I lost and gotta have more time of now.

That’s one of the reasons I’ve been trying high rep training is not just for connective tissue health but to maintain some size until I’m ready to put on some heavier weights. Gives me time to practice my form so I don’t get hurt again once the weight goes up. But the size comes back fast it’s just disappointing while u wait.

do ya think avoid squats though if do legs, cause putting bar across back and top of shoulders?

Agree with everyone here on taking a rest and not further aggravating the injury. Nothing wrong with taking a little time off to heal. A break from the gym doesn't mean you should slack on your diet though. I've known guys to take time off from the gym and just eat garbage, it just makes it harder for when you get back to training. Keep diet in check and you should have no problem getting back into it after your break.

I'm def gonna keep diet in check dude and was prob gonna do some running as ment to be going to selection for army in couple of months and had gone backwards in run times

Vertabre out of place dont know how that happened? Thats not uncommon with squats and your shoulders do get some strain squatting. I would rest it. Better safe than sorry.

Let it heal bro.. take the hit then train hard when it's g2g. . no point in making it worse.. even if it's a month muscle memory is amazing

X2 its not the end of the world if he misses a few weeks training , if he aggravated the injury further he might be out of action for longer than a few weeks , so rest is what I'd do .
