+ 5 Simple Chipotle Chili Recipe!

ad

It’s that time of year when I make chili all the time and this is my favorite simple recipe.

Items needed.

2 cans black beans unseasoned
2 cans Rotel hot
1 can whole kernel corn
1 bell pepper chopped
1 onion chopped
1 lb hamburger
1 can chipotle peppers in adobo sauce

Directions
Brown hamburger and drain then Add entire cans sauce and all of black beans and rotel hot. Drain the juice from can of corn and then add. Add chopped bell pepper and onion. Open can of chipotle peppers and add two whole chipotle peppers and three spoon fulls of the sauce in the can. I cover and cook on 30% power for 45 mins stirring every 15 mins then remove lid and continue cooking simmering for final 15 mins. Total cook time 1hr.

This has the perfect combination of a little bit of spicy and very flavorful. If you don’t like spicy or Have people who are sensitive to spicey food you can use one chipotle pepper and one spoonful of adobo sauce or use regular rotel or rotel chipotle flavor and use only one chipotle pepper from can. Also if you don’t have a pot with a lid heat entire mixture to a heat that keeps it at a low simmer for 1 hr. I hope you enjoy and I hope you post your own chili recipes for us to try.

Yeah I realized my mistake a few days after posting maybe Eroids needs one of those annoying spell bots to correct everyone’s spelling. It would be very busy. Yes chili most certainly has to have beans to be delicious

I take it the beans and the corn added are to ensure extra flatulence

Sounds good. If you used dry beans and fresh peppers you could really cut the sodium. I may try this one.

Typically I struggle to get enough sodium when I’m not bulking but I like the idea of possibly using low sodium beans. I don’t typically use raw beans because they take to long to cook unless I’m making Cajun pintos.
