+ 2 Philly cheesesteak low carbs

Green pepper Philly cheesesteak, love em

I like a little seasoning salt with mine too

INGREDIENTS
4 bell peppers, halved
1 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 large onion, sliced
mushrooms, sliced
Kosher salt
ground black pepper
Steak em in a box- frozen section, can use real sirloin
provolone cheese shredded or any white cheese

DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 325º. Place peppers in a large baking dish and bake until tender, 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, in a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat oil. Add onions and mushrooms and season with salt and pepper. Cook until soft, 6 minutes. Add steak em and season with more salt and pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally, 3 minutes.
Add provolone to bottom of baked peppers and top with steak mixture. Top with more provolone and broil until golden, 3 minutes

Have some bell peppers left over from my soup i made last night. Will definitely try this for dinner tonight.

Some food for thought regarding this.

I would never consider a "Steak Em" to be preferred protein source. Always chose whole real lean cuts over anything processed. Provolone also is not considered a bodybuilding food. I would reserve this prep for the offseason when excess calories are what is desired. Offseason only, then load up the cheese and serve on a nice roll with plenty of ketchup and a little hot sauce.

Use real whole beef , Cut the cheese (lol) and serve over a bed of dark mixed greens , potatoes, or rice and now you have a bodybuilding meal.

Potatoes, Cut the cheese, and add some coconut fried over easy eggs across the top for a morning meal. What do u think?
