+ 4 My Low Carb Staple

ad

Hey guys, I'm currently cutting on a low carb diet and just finished prepping one of go to low carb meals when I will be away from the house for a while and thought I would share. It's cheap, simple and easy to eat on the go.

1) Empty two cans of tuna into Tupperware container
2) Add two servings of mayonnaise (26 grams)
3) Add hot sauce and pepper to taste and mix

Roughly 44 grams of protein, 20 grams of fat, no carbs and 388 calories.

If you want to add calories and a little protein dice two boiled eggs and mix in. If you want to add a little flavor but keep calories the same, replace one serving of mayonnaise with one diced boiled egg.

This can also be made snack size with one can of tuna and one serving of mayonnaise. I bring this to work with me for lunch at least three days a week when low carbing it.

I had chicken.

Canned tuna kills me. But canned chicken on the other hand. Sounds good.
Thanks

Nice. Could also throw a little celery, diced carrots, etc in there for some texture too. Sounds good, I'll have to try it.

Very good idea. I'm usually not going for style points with this one and just throwing something together fast to get my macros in. I am going to try it celery and carrots tomorrow.

No carrots = some carbs
Pickels would be nice

Yeah, but very little, and you don't need to add much for texture, just something crunchy in there. I really like onions in tuna salad, but more carbs there than carrots and celery. Pickled are good, crunchy and flavor.
