+ 2 Meal prep
ad
Has anybody ever tried making breakfast for the week and froze their eggs? I wake up early and cook my eggs every day. I was thinking about cooking them and making a breakfast bowl with bacon potatoes and eggs. Putting them in containers and heating them up at work. It just seems like the eggs would be messed up reheating after freezing. I’ll be doing scrambled.

AnonI eat everything cold, out of a Yeti, so no reheating issues
Or minced meat with a fried egg on top of it when the egg yolk runs over the meat mmm dang
You aren't talking about Steak Tartare are ya? Yuuuck! Lol
In principle tartare is ground from raw steak, while minced meat can also be made from other meat parts of the beef. It's cheaper Baked bro not raw lol
I like my eggs fresh hmm 3 whole eggs 3 egg whites in a bowl
then make a fried egg with a slice of cheddar cheese I pull in pieces on top of it then ik bake some new potatoes the little ones some canned mushrooms and a lot of black peper
I’m doing the egg thing now guys. Fried up some leftover ham too for the eggs. Making Mac salad with hard boiled eggs and tuna with peas onion and other veggies. Wish I could post pics of the prep. That’s a good idea for this section. Recipes and what the finished product looks like. Post pics of the meal prep to share ideas. We all know it can get hard to eat sometimes.
I know this post is older but I just did a large meal prep for the week. I did my instructions here
https://www.eroids.com/forum/training-nutrition-diet/whats-for-dinner/me...
and then I uploaded a few pictures to the "self shots" picture forum and added a link to each other in the topic created. worked out really well. If you do a prep I'd suggest doing it that way. I for one know I'd love to see the pictures attached to the instructions. Who's hungry???? Be easy brother
Tuna goes great with French dressing .....
Another pretty easy thing to do is to cook them in the oven on a greased sheet pan at 350 for about 15 min. I scramble the whites and yolks together and cut them into squares when done for breakfast sandwiches. They’re freezable when scrambled. If just using egg whites don’t freeze them.
You can totally freeze cooked eggs. They're good for up to a year in the freezer. Don't freeze hard boiled eggs. The white portion becomes rubbery. Scrambled eggs are the easiest and best to freeze. They actually taste good. Cook your eggs so it is slightly runny. It helps keep it soft and fluffy after reheating in the microwave. Cool the eggs completely. Portion out your servings in freezer safe containers. Thaw out in the refrigerator overnight. Do not cook the eggs in the microwave without first thawing.
Damn Achak - Is there anything you don't know the answer to?!! Great stuff. I think when we all need answers to something we'll ask you first LOL
I used to meal prep so this is something I do know something about lol.
I just bought some containers and made 5 containers of eggs and I bought a ham and added a fat slice of that with cheese and a bagel with peanut butter. Found a gym that opened up
I cook eggs in the microwave. Stir em up with some heavy cream and nuke em.
AlphaStrength50Sounds good man. Personally I just hard-boil them for 8minuted and they're good to go!
Do it!
Yup I’m going to. That will save me a half hour sleep every day before work.
AnonI make breakfast burritos with eggs sometimes, freeze a bunch of them and they're amazing reheated.
Freeze away!
I do this 2 with some Tabasco you need to try these with Salamon bro!
I agree with Sam. What could it hurt. Or just refrigerate hard boiled ones and chop them up
Just eat it anyway.
You should be fine look at all the breakfast sandwiches that have you microwave them the eggs comes out the best out of the whole sandwich
I guess people hate sausage egg mcmuffins lol I like them fresh or frozen
Can you post the recipe bro of this?
I can’t do McDonald’s

Me either I get instant shits but frying an eggs with some sausage on a English muffin is amazing with some hot sauce
AnonFried egg with avacado and cheese. Loved that combination. I used to mix the yolk with mayo and use it as a spread. I'd make 2-3 of those for breakfast when I was a young landscaper.
