+ 4 Egg white shakes for those who are tired of whey

I don’t know about you all, but after 15+ years of drinking whey shakes sometimes multiple times a day I just can’t do it anymore. About a year ago i started making egg white drinks that take about a second to make and tastes a hell of a lot better than whey. I use...

1 carton of egg whites (50g protein)
2/3 cup frozen fruit
1/2 packet crystal lite pink lemonade

And mix in a blender. Another very similar one I enjoy is

1 carton of egg whites (50g protein)
1 cup vanilla Greek yogurt (15-22g protein)
1/2 packet of orange crystal lite
Ice

I normally drink that for breakfast and then another
PWO (I just don’t have an appetite PWO for solid foods) I’ll mix it with pineapple juice and frozen fruit

Whole Foods are the way to go. Fact is you know what’s in the eggs and you really don’t with the protein powders. +2

I felt like egg white shakes may have messed with my digestion a bit. Its such a complex amino chain that it takes a while to digest raw egg whites vs cooked. Either it was the egg whites or the anadrol giving me digestion issues, pretty sure it was the egg whites cause when I went to cooking them I didn't experience this - at least not as much.

A shake I would do damn near every morning during my bulk was:
50g whey
30-45g walnuts - they blend just fine - or id use macadamia nut oil if I had it
80g quick oats

Got really sick of eating oats on a bulk but started to enjoy them on prep for the concept of volume - also added stevia a small amount of cacao powder or whey and then some cinnamon. Cut Stevia a week out from the show. That was one of the more enjoyable meals on prep. Then we added sweet potatos and lean ground beef for the last week - really enjoyed those meals.

Sometimes the simple things really are the best - feel good, digest good, and still tasty.

That’s funny you mention that because I was going to put this in my orginal post but thought I would be TMI. But since you mention digestion I’ll say it anyway. After switching to egg white drinks from whey I feel it solved a digestive issue I may have had. After 3-5 days going to the bathroom started to require hardly any ‘clean up’. My stools became more hard as a rock and going to the bathroom became much quicker and there was hardly anything there when I whipped. Sorry I know TMI but I feel it’s worth mentioning. That was the only thing I changed in my diet. And when I stopped drinking them for a brief time to switch things up, my stool went right back to how they used to me. Everyone is different, obviously it upset your stomach. But it definetly helped mine.

When I’m in a rush or feeling lazy I’ll just throw some egg whites in a cup and mix a little sugar free chocolate syrup in. Almost like chocolate milk lol
