A 100 grams in one serving? That’s probably over kill but it does sound tasty..

I was worried about to die to being able to absorb that amount of proteins but since it’s fast and slow acting proteins do you think I am still benefiting from the 100 grams?

All I notice is the amount of time it takes for me to be ready for a meal after the shake - If I ingest 50g Pro then its generally an hour after but if its around 80g it can be up to 3/4 hours. It makes quite a difference to me personally but then I'm pretty light compared to most with a crap digestive system Lol

Tough on the kidneys. I think it’s better to spread it out.

This is an often debated topic on here, but even I'd say not. You have to think even a 400lb Brian Shaw doesn't go over 80g and he'll be on the advice of a top nutritionist based on optimum amounts to consume and digest in one sitting. I did an 80g shake yesterday but only because of satisfying the protein craving after training rather than thinking it'll all be utilized.

It was my understand that depending on the person the body can only absorb 40-60 grams of protein at once. So using that logic I added in 50g of whey to be absorbed instantly and then the milk to be absorbed slowly over time since it’s a slower acting protein. I am by no means a diet expert so I’ll take your word on this so I may adjust a little bit with 1 1/2 scoop protein powder and 1 1/2 cup of milk to put me around the 80 mark. I drink this shake first thing in the morning or immediately after a workout when my body needs it the most. In your opinion is 80 grams still over kill taking into account that it’s slow and fast acting proteins?

To be honest mate studies have shown figures anywhere between 20g to 35g that the body can actually absorb in one sitting, what it actually is though who really knows. I just personally feel that there are times when you desire much more for a reason so therefore you must be needing it at the time, and others I just like to go for 50g. All down to personal preference and what you crave at the time I think, better to over consume than under for sure - no one wants to lose muscle!

It's liquid protein that is the issue. Liquid protein passes through the gut at a rate where only about 25g can be processed.

The "slow acting" [slow digesting] protein needed here is food.

2 chicken breasts and a 25g protein shake will give you about 115g of protein, all of which can be used by your body. Excess protein not used to build muscle is converted to energy (not stored as fat).

It is better to over consume - IF - you can digest it. If you're just pissing it away, it's a waste. Best to keep the shake at 25g for quick uptake pre/post a workout and get the rest of your protein from food.

Finally, I'd add the coconut flour.

Throw in 5 raw eggs and it sounds delicious

I would use egg whites as the liquid instead of the fairlife.
Just my personal opinion with my sensitive stomach
And blueberries instead of banana. But i love posts like these goodluck man. Keep grinding
