Jkozdra10's picture

I'm going to post a pic of myself I really don't want to I'm so skinny and look terrible but I would like to see how much progress I'm making from the awesome food everyone is suggesting and trying to get weight back on and see if I can... It will be a fun challenge and a cool way of showing the great advice the board gives ...now just do everyone know I'm 45 years old 5,10 ...158lbs today.. So hopefully no one makes to much fun of me.. But if they do it's ok I won't be this skinny long lol

Jkozdra10's picture

I want to seriously thank everyone so much for the support I tried a couple of the recipes you guys have me wow really taste great and didn't bother my stomach ...I was so worried thinking I was going to be in the toilet all day but nothing finally thank you so much guys

Jkozdra10's picture

The crazy thing is I actually used to think I would never have a gluten allergy lol I used to eat stromboli and buggers and so much junk as long as it didn't have cheese on it I was ok then I turned 40 and it just hit me hard one year I started getting so bloated and then I would get nauseous ... Now it's just bad

If you’re eating clean, exercising correctly, and your body chemistry is working correctly...you shouldn’t put on fat...
Try adding beans, lentils, gluten-free oatmeal...
Peanut butter, beef, fish, nuts...consume some healthy fats; avocados and EVOO...
Ain’t gonna be easy, but you can add serious kcals with the fats...and if done correctly you’ll add the lbs in a ketogenic state...
But get bloodwork...you have to monitor your lipid profile & liver profile as you add more fats & protein; your body may resist and throw bloods off, which in long run will cause more problems.

Jkozdra10's picture

I had tests done I'm definitely gluten and lactose but I knew I was lactose intolerant when I was little it just didn't effect me as bad but now it really makes me sick ... The gluten bloats me bad and gives me head aches gives me a full feeling so I can't eat all day

Caeser's picture

I believe you are...
I was answering your question about what you could eat...I didn’t make any challenge to your ailments.

Jkozdra10's picture

I do however need to go get more blood work done to make sure my fats and liver are good your def right about that ...

Caeser's picture

That recommendation for blood work is if you follow my advice about increasing fat & protein intake...the analysis assists you in understanding if your body is tolerating the increase in either; and if not you’ll need to adjust the diet again, take bloods again...rinse & repeat until you are dialed in.

Jkozdra10's picture

I will definitely thank you ... And thank you for helping me when I post a pic I will want everyone feed back to help me I'm sure I need allot of it..

Jkozdra10's picture

ohh i wasn't saying you were questioning that ..I just wanted to let people know I was actually tested and that I wasn't just thinking I was some guy being a hypochondriac lol ...

Food allergies are the worst! We have to eat and our body is revolting. What the cuss! I dont have a problem with dairy or gluten though i have over the last few years became allergic to some preservatives I've narrowed it down to that. Basically if it comes in a box, can, bottle and it tast great i cant eat it. As soon as i get done eating my sinuses swell shut, my chest gets a ton of congestion start coughing. I figured out when it starts i can blow my nose and only breath in through my mouth then blow the nose. Untill it clears a few minutes of trying to not choke to death. Before it would vapor lock me I'd sufficate then out came every thing i ate. Good luck with you figuring out a diet that works. Ive been one direction to the next with disappointment and fear to eat. SUX. Is all i can say. Stay strong and persevere brother

Jkozdra10's picture

Wow that sucks bro I know the fear of eating not knowing if your going to get sick ... One day one meal at a time I guess thanks for the support and it's nice to hear I'm not alone .. Hope you feel great for the holidays

glowinthedark's picture

I am gluten-free myself and use Bob Mills gluten free oats as my primary carb source, rice, beans; occasionally gluten free pasta mix pre workout. Protein sources don't have gluten if you're cooking it yourself? Don't worry about getting fat if you're eating the bro-foods and training ur ass off. I do the oats with some peanut butter and whey it's almost like a desert and really packs on good calories

Jkozdra10's picture

How long are you cooking the oats ?? I can never get the right consistency .. Thanks for the idea of adding peanut butter to it I'm so glad I posted on here.. Thanks so much guys for all your help

glowinthedark's picture

I get the "quick cooking oats" not rolled not steel. They are ready to go just after adding liquid. I'll do 2 servings oats, maybe 1 tbsp peanut butter, 2 scoops chocolate whey and mix with unsweetened almond milk but only enough liquid to get it to mix. Less liquid the better it's easier to devour n taste great

Jkozdra10's picture

Awesome I'm going to try that today thank you..I have whey isolate chocolate I was wandering if you meant the steel cut ones or not ..

glowinthedark's picture

It's a very specific one I use for the consistency I like. I'm not sure if we're allowed to link it but I buy a 25lb bag online of the stuff to save money. It doesn't say instant, rolled or steel just quick cooking haha

Just eat more of what youre already eating. Throw in some regular potatoes and fish

Jkozdra10's picture

I def need to eat more ... I'm trying to eat bigger portion sizes I guess it will get easier down the road thank you for the advice is regular potatoes better for bulking over sweat potatoes?

How's that dbol working? It's also an interesting source you purchased it through.

Here are some sites to look at different foods you can eat.

Jkozdra10's picture

Also thank you I fixed the source on where I got the gear when I put in the source it popped up that other place I didn't notice it was a different source ...

Jkozdra10's picture

Thank you for the recipes I definitely want to have the chicken tacos and turkey chili ....I just got the dbol yesterday so took the first 3 today hoping it goes good I'm just taking 30mg to 40mg a day as a kick start with 500mg of test E a week.

CBBurrr's picture

I had to give up on orals. All the methylated hormones fucked with my gut. If you start having issues it's probably the D ball

Jkozdra10's picture

Holy crap I never thought of that !!! My stomach today was messed up and I knew I ate perfect..
Thank Burr should I stop taking them then ?? Or drop the dose ?? It wasn't too bad but felt bloated and uncomfortable

CBBurrr's picture

You can try dropping the dose and see what happens. I just gave up on it. It ruined bulking when I couldn't eat what I needed to eat. Leg day sucks with a bloated belly

Jkozdra10's picture

Yes definitely bloating bad today thank you I will drop it see if that helps

Jkozdra10's picture

Thanks Cbburr can you give me a couple of your meals you make and are you eating big portion sizes and how many times a day ?

CBBurrr's picture

I simply ate every time I had the opportunity. Five or six eggs for breakfast cooked up chicken breast five at a time. Snacked on broccoli and hummus. I also have a wife that is a great cook and always has some in the fridge for me. Bulking pretty much meant eating all day everyday. I'm happy to be eating at maintenance nowadays. My goals are changed. I'm staying at 190 no matter what I eat.

Jkozdra10's picture

That's what I want to do get my weight back up to 190 thanks for all your help ... I'm eating tons of chicken and steak and turkey just don't know what I can eat that would be more potent for putting back on the weight ... If I eat something with lactose and gluten in it really makes me sick coming out both ends .. Sometimes since I been eating better I haven't had problems except losing weight in staying at 160
I now

CBBurrr's picture

If you have celiac you have to be 100 % sure of gluten free.
One little bread crumb, or the wrong soy sauce can fuck you up.
160 is pretty light. I was down to 145 at my lightest.
When you have a damaged gut it's hard to gain weight.
Look up ghrp6
It makes you hungry... seriously fucking hungry. Helps stimulate the Vegas nerve that keeps your gut moving.

Jkozdra10's picture

Your so right I def think my gut is screwed up from it ..I will do anything to get better stomach problems suck it's like I don't like eating anymore ...I just do because I have to not because I love the taste anymore..

CBBurrr's picture

Bro. I got celiac and I'm lactose intolerant. There is still plenty of stuff we can eat.
Meat. Vegetables. Potatoes. Rice. Whey protein isolate. Fruit. Hot sauce.
