I know it’s pretty common for ppl to use egg whites as a base for a shake but apparently it’s not so effective. My job is food safety so maybe I’m just raining on ppls parade lol. According to this study 51% of the protein from raw eggs is absorbed while 91% is absorbed after cooking. This study is for whole eggs though. Moral of the story is cook your eggs for more protein.

i just tried muscle egg i thought it tasted pretty good, but it was a little expensive. i probably wouldnt buy it, but if someone gave me some i would use it. i tried cake batter flavor and liked it
i go to restaurant depot its a wholesale place i get the quarts for about $2 each, but i have to buy like 15 at a time so i freeze them
This is why I love this site haha I’m all about saving a dollar thanks for all the information fellas!
Costco, 6 containers in a box, each container has 12 egg whites a piece. $9 a box. go thru one a week usually.
That sounds like a bargain.
If anyone is still reading this thread, Sams Club's Member's Mark branc = $7.99 for same box. Save that dollar!
Huge box at Sams for like 4 bucks i think 96 eggs in there. I go through one of those a week
Damn I know where I’m goin!
4 bucks a week is a great deal
I buy my eggs in bulk from a farmer, whole eggs and do it "oldschool" I separate the eggwhite from the yolk!
Simple, cheap and biological!
Sams. 8.76 for 6 pints. 1.43 a pint/10Egg whites. How much is a dozen of eggs??
Who wants to sit there and crack eggs for 1.43. And then give yourself salmonella to save a fucking dollar.
A 5 dozen large eggs at Walmart is 3.50 and they taste a lot better imo. If your not picky about the taste I see your point. I eat a minimum of 12 a day so taste is important to me.
I put them in the blender with oatmeal and flavor with ice tea or Hawaiian punch or apple juice. Im tired of chewing so whatever will fit in the blender i drink. Ive I've chewed enough to last 3 lifetimes.
Lmao. I can relate bro. My jaw and forehead muscles have grown and sometimes get a pump aftrr eating something tough like overcooked bottom round ....
Sounds delicious I’ll give it a try. I’ve got some pasturized to.
A nice way is to get a choc protein powder and just use that to mix it. Literally taste just like a choc milk shake
Hello Sir,
I seem to be the only one buying normal eggs from local grocery shop. Should probably look in to this to save some funds.
Regards
X2
Costco. Comes out to 2$ a pint. Not the cheapest but it’s pasteurized so I can throw them raw in smoothies and not worry about food poisoning.
Seriously? I get 90 packs of large eggs for like $4 and change at the local wholesale store and I just separate the whites. You’re throwing money away over literally 30 seconds worth of “work” every day to separate your own egg whites. It makes no sense.
True and they taste better to.
Have you checked your grocery stores or like a Walmart? I'm able to buy them at any grocery store in the egg section. They cost between 2.99-4.50$ per 16oz/1lbs carton.
Here's 2 for 66$+shipping, unless you can get free shipping through Amazon which is possible.

Here's a UK site with whites for 4.19GBP per 1kg and 17.84GBP for 6kg

hello brother, thx for the link gonna buy some
whats the difference between Barn Farmed and Free Range? if I buy 6 x 1 kg how much eggs is it? and its eggs without egg yolk? sorry bad english
It's all strictly whites, no yolks
It is exactly what you would think it is. Barn farms is the chickens are free to roam , virtually no where , in cramped pens inside a huge factory farm barn. Free range is usually more expensive because the chickens are free to roam pasture thereby mimicking nature.
The quality difference in undeniable.
thank you a lot
vtrxeroI did buy them at sams 60 servings for 8 $
Yeah 60 serving for a 8 year old lol
