Bulking approach

What's your guys approach for bulking? I guess this is very much goal dependent, but in a general sense what is your protocol for adding that size? Do you guys do the standard and go from maintenance calories and up that by 300-500kcals or do you do a slower approach? Or maybe just start slamming an extra 1000-2000kcal? My approach has always been upping my calories to about 500+ and get to a goal weight and if I want to get bigger add another 300-500kcal - mostly my carbs and fat - protein stays at 225-250 maitanace or bulking.

Just wanna get some ideas out there and see what your guys approach is. Also what works better for you? - jacking up the carbs? Or jacking up the healthy fats?

Makwa has an awesome thread on cyclic bulking. I’ve been using it and love the approach.

I checked that out and It kind of mind fucked my approach. Slow and steady really does win the race it seems. I'm going to read more into that and base my approach off that formula.

Carb supplement? Ummmm....Muffins, pop tarts, fig newtons, pineapple juice etc. Stop wasting money on bs supplements. Suger is suger if timed correctly.

Started carbion from allmax a couple weeks ago. Really like it. No bloat. Perfect for post workout and lasts until i can get home to cook real food.

Oatmeal and sometimes dextrose around workouts, preferably in the form of hasbro gummy bears.

I was trying gummy bears immediately after workout but they must be to sweet they would go right through my stomach.. using rice cakes and honey. Thinking about trying a powder. Used karbolyn years ago. Maybe somethiing new and improved now

I think that has the new dextrose complex in it. Nutrex makes a good one too and TN has them in bulk.
