Supplements & Meds for health & prevention (Cardiovascular, Kidney & Metabolic health)
Being in this Iron and Anabolic game is a choice that might have bad consequences for our health. It is our responsibility to stay healthy and minimize the damage. There is no need to have kidney issues or major Cardiovascular ones either. I have done so much research on this and want to share all my findings with you guys, so we can stay strong and healthy together. I can't go into major detail with everything here but take from it what you will. Everything I listed here I took in less amounts for my first Test Enanthate cycle of 400mg. My LDL even improved from 110 to 70. I wish I could go into more detail about each supplement. If any of you have questions besides the general info i gave drop a comment. I want everyone to learn from my obsession and time I invested into finding all of this out. I would take most of these year round in lesser dosage or more depending on what the situation is asking for. I don't use everything everything year round nor do i suggest (with the prescription meds especially) IT DEPENDS ON WHAT YOU NEED
1: Cardiovascular & Kidney Supplements (THE MUSTS AND BEST ONES !!)
For Lipid profile, heart protection and anti inflammatory these are the best supplements in the game.
- Patented Kaneka Ubiquinol 100-400mg (Lipid Profile, Heart Health & more check research)
- Patented Bergamonte Citrus Bergamot 500-1000mg AM & PM (Lipid Profile)
- Niacin 500 5x a day or 1500-2000 mg at night (Lipid Profile & Lipoprotein a), I would cycle this one as it is linked to insulin resistance
- Krill Oil 1-2 grams (Lipid Profile & Inflammation)
- Fish Oil 5-10 grams (Lipid Profile & Inflammation)
- Curcummin 500mg AM & PM (Inflammation, Anti Carcinogen)
- Vitamin D3 5000-10.000 & K2 MK7 200-400mcg (Heart Health, Prevent Arterial Calcification)
- Hawthorn Extract 500-1000mg (Protect Heart)
- B12, Folate, Betaine (Lowers Homocysteine, depending on bloodwork)
2: Blood Pressure and Kidney Health
1. Carditone 1 Tablet AM & PM (Blood pressure, best supplement for this)
2. Celery Seed Extract 10:1 400-800mg (Blood Pressure)
3. Grape Seed Extract 400mg AM & PM (Kidney Health & Blood Pressure)
4. Pycnogenol (Kidney Health, best after high blood markers for kidneys because expensive)
5. Astragalus 2-3 grams AM & PM or 4-8 grams AM & PM (Kidney regeneration & health) (Vitamin Shoppe is a great brand) THIS IS THE BEST SUPPLEMENT FOR KIDNEY REGENERATION SEE DANTE TRUDEL HIS INFO ABOUT IT FOR MORE
Other possible supplements depending on the situation:
1. Tadalafil 5-10mg (Blood Pressure & BPH)
2. Baby Aspirin (Blood Thinner)
3. Lisinopril 2.5-10mg (Ace Inhibitor & also Renal Protective) Prescription blood pressure med, if blasting heavy aromatizing drugs or you are not responsive to carditone I would add this in there for sure. Discuss with Doctor too
3: Metabolic Supplements
Gut health is super important for heart health and overall health. Same goes with controlling our insulin sensitivity to remain sensitive to dieting etc. These are some of the best supplements for this.
- Probiotic (Overall gut health > Cardiovascular health etc.)
- Cinnamon 600-1200mg (Blood Sugar & Hb1ac)
- Berberine 1200 mg Daily with Carb meals (Blood Sugar & Hb1ac) This is the best natural supplement to control blood sugars, insulin sensitivity/resistance
- Metformin (Blood Sugar & Hb1ac & Longevity) This is more hardcore than Berberine, generally pretty safe but only drawback to metformin is IGF-1 and Mtor pathways are being inhibited which is good for longevity bad for bodybuilding. I would go with Berberine if you are not on GH or very insulin resistant. Discuss with Doctor too
Hope you guys like this, ask anything, add to it, share your experiences etc.. Lets have a discussion and build on this post so we can all learn from Each other. Peace friends

Didn't realise Pine Bark is also known as Pycnogenol - I take this daily and its amazing how good it is for you 3 times stronger than Vit C
jayiskSimple video explaining why Metformin is bad for you.

If you need all of this to safely cycle, then it is not a safe cycle to begin with. I think a better approach than trying to out-supplement something detrimental to your health is to is to use manageable doses (500-750mg tops) for reasonable timeframes, be in good shape before cycling, already follow a healthy and balanced diet, have low or reasonable bf, have cardio work Incorporated into your routine, get bloodwork done, etc. The things that are always preached but rarely followed...then maybe add a few supplements.
It seems like most cycles posted on here are 1.5- 2gms of gear for months on end. ..it's nuts. Maybe that’s why all these supplements are needed.
I take Nac year round, supplement with fish oil and flax, drink beet juice daily and thst’s it...fairly simple and bw has been great—I also keep my cycles lighter and shorter than most. Im in this for the long haul. Im not doubting the benefits of some of the supplements listed, I just think they are not needed if you cycle safely.
Alphamale500Look, I don't mean to piss on your parade here. But some of the medications/supplements in your lists are dangerous, can be even more dangerous when mixed together, and the danger just increases if they're used by ppl who don't know any better.
Don't get me wrong, your lists do contain some beneficial compounds, although I wouldn't say they are;
"the best supplements in the game."
"THE MUSTS AND BEST ONES !!"
I just want to mention the few that can be dangerous so other new members are aware.
1: Those amounts of niacin can be very bad for your liver, and can cause gastrointestinal problems.
2: It wouldn't be a smart idea to take krill oil if you're already taking fish oil. Pick one! And 5g of fish oil??
3: Metformin can be very dangerous.
4: You talk about using blood pressure medications as if they were candy or vitamins.
5: Mixing Tadalafil, which can already cause low blood pressure, with another blood pressure medication like Lisinopril can be extremely dangerous and cause very low respiration rates and even death!!!!
Very helpful article +. Careful with Metformin though!
goldeneraposer69Glad you like it brother & yes no prescription med should be taken lightly since they all are prescription for a reason
Some of these are great options thanks for sharing bro
goldeneraposer69Great man, i'm trying to help !
"Supplement stack for health" ... and below u list Metformin and call it even pretty safe, damn please stay away from this DRUG , except u want to become diabetic!
Tadalafil in combination with 5-10mg Lisinopril and a small amount of ass can "knock u out". A healthy person gets a very low bp with this combination.
goldeneraposer69Brother Metformin is known to be safe, even for not pre diabetics and so just normal people. Nobody ever became a diabetic using metformin. THE OPPOSITE lol. And yes its true your bp can get so low with that combo but it is for everyone to see what they need. This post is more about combining everything into one so people can see what are possible uses. Also using GH even 3-4 IU without metformin is pretty irresponsible imo. Metformin is a great tool for those who need it, no need for broscience. But my bad for naming it wrong giving a wrong impression.
Alphamale500These are some irresponsible statements to make bro!
Why???? Cuz someone told you that?
I’ve been on 2iu of growth for 2 years and my blood sugar hasn’t been above 95 once in my bloodwork, and I never pull blood fasted. Usually it’s around 80.
Ever read about what metformin does to your androgen receptors? There’s a lot of sides that it can cause I wouldn’t use it long term unless you need it. Is this more Dylan gymelli advice?
Or what it does to your testosterone?
You have a post about thinking you need TRT. If you’re using metformin, coupled with your weak PCT that could be why.
Give this a read. Pay extra attention to the bottom of the metformin side section. All cited from medical studies too by the way.
https://www.eroids.com/forum/general/general-talk/can-berberine-replace-...
Using metformin long term because someone told you it was safe, without looking into all the effects and sides it can have irresponsible. You’re not going to go lights out using GH without it, but you could using it with already low sugar.
I especially wouldn’t use berberine along side metformin. Diabetics REPLACE metformin with berberine.
Sure it can, if your blood sugar level is already low it slows down the liver dumps that the body uses to recover from going low. Thats why Metformin is very risky , cause fast acting sugar can't help as fast as usual due this fact.
goldeneraposer69Yes but taking metformin if you have steady low blood sugar would be unnecessary. But I doubt what you say is correct still because I know a lot of people on the internet and 2 in real life that are taking metformin for "anti-aging" even. Metformin does not work the same way as Insulin does, which the way you describe it. Metformin works through making the cells more insulin receptive and stopping the liver from making more glucose than needed.
Literally first thing on google as well if you type "does metformin cause hypoglycemia" it says the following: "Alone, metformin does not cause hypoglycemia or low blood sugar. However, in rare cases, you may develop hypoglycemia if you combine metformin with: a poor diet. strenuous exercise"
Metformin does not cause what you just said brother, so I don't know where you got that information from. Also i'm not advocating everyone take that lol, Berberine is way better for most people.
Dude, I know she’s old, but my grandmother almost died last week because of metformin. It is definitely rare but it can 100% happen as stair master says.
Her blood sugar was high so she took an extra dose and fell out. As in lights out. As in almost in coma.
Luckily someone was there and got her to a hospital quick. And luckily her brain is still in tact, but she’s not able to walk like she used to and now she’s in a chair and needs a walker to go just a few steps. She also now can’t shower by herself. I’m hoping the PT gets her back to normal in a couple months but she’s 88 so that’s doubtful.
Oh, and:
“strenuous exercise” = almost everyone on this site
“Poor diet” = most of America.
Cmon man. Don’t just read or hear things and parrot them. Use your head.
Yes, it’s a new fad to use metformin for anti-aging. And yes it’s relatively safe in healthy individuals. But it’s not like taking a multivitamin like you’re making it out to be.
jayiskThere has been enough information over the past few yrs regarding metformins dangers.
The last thing the FDA..,since they are basically in Big Pharma's pockets.., wants to do is be forced to put a Black Box Warning on a pharma drug. They did for Metformin. These types of medications are only meant to be taking what they were designed to do.
