+ 1 Joint pains.. What do you recommend..

ad

I have heard good things about both animal flex and usp labs super cissus. I'm leaning towards trying super cissus because one you get more for your money and two because I rather take 2 pills instead of the 8 that you would have to with animal flex. Would love to hear opinions especially from people who have personally tried any of these.

Turmeric is what I use and find that it’s supposed to be one of the best you can take. It’s actually a turmeric ginger and black pepper mix.

Fish oil makes wonders.

I had problems with my joints in elbows, I took glucosamine and everything, it turned out to be my uric acid, and to reduce it, the pain went away, if you consume a lot of red meat, check that it could be too

I've been doing the Glucosamine Chondroitin Msm with vit D for almost two months and haven't noticed a difference.

Animal flex is good. Deff my fav. I use to have horrible joint pain in my knees and in my elbows. I was able to overcome this pain with 3 months training light weight high reps. I stayed away from skull crushers of any sort, and squats. For my knees warming up with leg extension can do the trick. Another good supplement is curcummin it's antiflamitory and has many other benefits.

Brother, first you need to find out what exactly is causing the pain! It could be a great number of things. If there is an age or sports related damage to your joints you can use supplements like glucosamine but what is really going to fix or help the problem is combination of low dose HGH (1 to 2IU/day) and low dose Deca (50 to 100mg/wk). I was able to save my right shoulder joint this way. Took me nearly 2 years of self prescribed treatment and PT. All doctors and specialist told me that the only option for me is a joint replacement and no more weightlifting! These days a train four times a week with no restrictions and most importantly no pain!

I have been fighting it for a long time now. I finally figured out that my cholesterol medication was the biggest culprit. “Disclaimer: don’t try this at home”
I get my labs every 3-4 months so I did an experiment.
I found that Vinegar was the only supplement that lowered my cholesterol enough to get me into my normal range. Remember my test went for about 9 months.
So I only use the medication when I cycle now.
I successfully lowered my cholesterol 40 points naturally with vinegar. Balsamic vinegar.
Apple cider works a little bit better but it tastes like gasoline.
If your cholesterol is healthy. Ignore my post.
The best supplement I have used recently besides vinegar is:

It is expensive but it works pretty fast. Compared to the other compounds that I have tried.
That’s my two cents.

Co-enzyme Q10 2 grams a day split am - pm
Krill oil 2 gram split am-pm.

Both have anti-inflammatory properties and will keep your cholesterol in check (diet depending)

That sounds good. I think Patriot Power Greens is what you need. You should check out this review - https://unbiasedviews.com/patriot-power-greens-review/

I guess someone recommended this product to you in past comments as well. But undoubtedly this product has no match. It's highly recommended for you.

Animal flex works good for me

giardap's picture

Glucosamine /Chron and the oils never did anything for me.
The reality is, that most clinical trials on humans with joint issues such as arthritis has consistently proven that they just don't work, shouldn't be sued and shouldn't be covered by insurance or issued by hospitals.

I recommend voodoo flossing for join pain and mobility

giardap's picture

shouldn't be used !

Glucosamine has done wonders for me and a friend of mine, after 1-2 weeks of high supplementation is when you feel the pains go away.

Ever thought about high doses of cissus? A lot of guys and gals are non-responders to glucosamine and MSM. I would look into tumeric (with black pepper extract), cissus, and hyaluronic acid. Also, active release therapy works wonders for a lot of joint pain. It's a small process but well worth it and in turn you'll be able to utilize the supplements while getting to a deeper issue with the joint.

i_know_stuff's picture

Periodically i have those problems too, I recomend glucosamin and cold water or ice for pain!!

I would personally recommend turmeric curcumin for joint pain. In fact, you can use it for any other body aches. I'm in the body building industry and I've been using it for 6 years. It never failed me once. If you're wondering what I'm using, this is it.

Hi dude.
If you have joint pains you need of course to take MSM+glucosamine+chondroitin. But here need to understood one important point - you also need to take together with this complex vit C 1-2 gramm per day and rutin 500 mg-1 gram. Also you need to take B group vitamins. If you will take complex without vit C,rutin, vit B - it is for nothing.
Hyaluronic acid in additional - good idea, and collagen types 1 and 3 to be sure, that you body have all of nutrient to repair your joint
Animal flex not so good idea, but of course better than nothing.

Hylauronic acid works wonders along with the basics glucosamine chondroitin msm and high efa consumption

Supplements including shark's cartilage, Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM), and fish oil should provide you some relief. Additionally, there is a notable benefit derived from the application of arnica montana gel, to be used topically, for the treatment and lessening of pain sensations. Supplementation will, of course, mitigate the pain to a certain extent, but I always urge people to look at their nutritional basics, first and foremost: Are you dehydrated? If so, I would highly recommend upping your water intake as adequate hydration facilitates the process of both collagen and bone tissue synthesis as well as repair after exposing the body to those stressors induced by exercise. What about food choices? How would you quantify your sugar intake on a day-to-day basis? Are you eating things that invoke an allergenic response? Ingesting foods that disagree with your body will encourage heightened cytokine production and inflammation of both the chronic and systemic variant. Inquiries of this sort may appear superficial or insignificant, but these involve the types of diet and lifestyle choices that can aggravate joint pain, to the detriment of your well-being, or, by the same token, allow the body to repair itself once the issues have been remedied.

Tried animal flex, it was good, soothed the pain. Deca is the best stuff for aching joints though Smile

I'm about to try some Cissus myself. Have used a few OTC products already with not of an effect.

CR1970's picture

Tried Cissus several years ago and it seem to do the job. Hell my mother still uses and swears by it.

The super cissus has been working for me. Been using it for two weeks I feel a difference.

I just made a post inquiring about a supplement called Patriot Power Greens, i heard they gave it to older guys in the military (hence the product name) for joint and muscle pain among other things

Orange Triad and fish oil. Both combined cleared up the nagging pain I had from a torqued shoulder. Adding plenty of water and stretches to my daily routine really helped too.

I have found that nothing really works for me. Pretty much tried them all. Best thing that helps my joints out now is go with lighter weights and longer time under tension. I have found that when on cycle my joints feel much much better if I keep my estro up a lighter higher. But as far as OTC pils, nothing really seems to make much of a difference for me.

knuckleswollen's picture

I have been on the usp cissus for a few months which I added to my glucosamine and super krill oil. Joints have been feeling great. Plus like you said 2 pills and more bang for you buck.

ready4war83's picture

How many do you take per day?? Just two??
