+ 2 Great, Newly Designed Supp for Joint Health and Mobility
A supplement that I use for Joint Health and Mobility is called Theracurmin, 100mg. It's a recently designed form of Turmeric/Curcumin extract that has a very high rate of absorption and bioavailability in the human body. While other forms of Turmeric/Curcumin are notoriously difficult at being absorbed by the human body. And one of the best things about it is the fact that it has healthy liver function properties to it as well.
I'm sure there are many people who are aware of the well known liver health and detoxification benefits of Turmeric, among others. But a big problem has always been it's very poor absorption and bioavailability rates. That's why Bioperine, or (black pepper extract) is an ingredient that's usually added to other Turmeric/Curcumin products to help increase Turmeric's absorption rates. Bioperine increases the absorption rates of certain supplements, minerals etc..
Among those benefits, Theracurmin has anti-inflammatory, antiviral, antibacterial, anticancer and antioxidant properties as well! So even though it's labeled as a joint health and mobility supplement, it has many other potential health benefits.

Bone marrow
Would thumbs you up but I cant. Bone marrow is amazing for your joints and skin.
I don't know about the particular supplement you are referencing as I've never used it. However I do agree with your analysis of Curcumin and have used it for years to help as an anti inflammatory for GI issues. I use TUDCA for liver control.
Good post +
Alphamale500Btw, have you ever tried using or adding N-A-C to your current supps for liver health? I use a few supps for liver health, including N-A-C, Milk Thistle, Phosphatidylcholine, Alpha-Lipoic-Acid and I guess now I can count Theracurmin as well. Actually, I also take an aged Garlic extract that's great for your liver, but that's not the main reason I take it.
N-A-C is really a highly effective supplement that's good to add to your current supps. Even hospitals use N-A-C in certain situations, like if someone overdoses on Tylenol. I've heard great things about TUDCA as well, I just never used it yet.
Yeah, I like to stay up on the lastest and most effective supps to keep me healthy. And my latest bloodwork was excellent, so it seems like they're working. Lol, but when I walk into a vitamin store and see all the different vitamins and supplements, I'm like a little kid in a firework store!
I’ve used NAC for a couple decades since my late 20s anyway. I didn’t know until a couple years ago it was good for your liver as well. I take 600 mg every morning. I read one of your forums about a supplement similar but better that resvaritrol that starts with a p. I looked on amazon but there were different kinds of it not just brands I couldn’t descide what was best. What brand do you use or recommend? And if you aren’t allowed to tell me in a forum could You pm me?
Alphamale500Sure, I'll send you a fr request and tell you the exact brand and site that I use. I've been taking NAC myself for many years. What was the reason you were taking NAC? Recently, NAC has also been used in the treatment of cocaine addiction. NAC is a great health supplement.
The supplement you're talking about is Pterostilbene. It's actually closely related to Resveratrol, and both are found in grapes and blueberries etc.. That's an amazing supplement with many real health benefits including longevity effects, and you can find many official research studies on the internet to back them up!
The best thing to do is get a supplement with both Resveratrol and Pterostilbene in it. That's what I've been using recently. The supp I use has 250mg of Resveratrol along with 50mg of Pterostilbene. It's purposely made with the two of them in it because they're in the same family, offer many of the same benefits and they have a synergistic effect when taken together. Ttys bro!
The reason I’ve been taking it is I read it was an extremely potent antioxidant related to guthanone (spelling error) but better lends a sulfur molecule which I’m sure you have noticed by the smell of the bottle. So it really doesn’t cost all that much to take 600 mg a day vs it’s supposed benefits. I used to take a lot of antioxidants when they first became popular. I’ve since backed off because I just felt like I was taking too much stuff. That’s why I want to focus on just a handful of the most effective ones like the Pterostibene you mentioned. Thanks man.
PcushionMan I have wondered about N-A-C. So your truly seeing good benefits from it?? My kitchen counter looks like a vitamin junkie lives in my house. Nevertheless adding one more supplement can’t hurt.
Alphamale500I believe NAC happens to be one of the most effective liver health supplements that's actually backed by clinical research. I mean, I don't think hospitals would be using it if it wasn't truly effective and backed by actual clinical research. And I'm not saying that other liver supps like milk thistle or TUDCA aren't effective as well, because I take some of those as well. But I think to get the most liver benefits, it's best to combine NAC with whatever you're using now, or at least with Milk Thistle.
I can really only say that I definitely do see beneficial results from NAC combined with the other liver supps etc, that I take. But the more I read about it, the more convinced I am about it's liver healing and protecting benefits. Whenever I get bloodwork done while I'm running gear, my liver enzymes are always perfect along with nearly everything else except my FSH and LH.
I'm the same way with vitamins and supplements bro! It definitely looks like a vitamin junkie lives in my house too, lol! I used to have mine all lined up on the counter too, but there's just too many for that now. So, I got this storage type thing with drawers that I put in the corner of my kitchen and I have like two complete drawers filled with my various vitamins, minerals and supplements. And I got this lazy Susan cabinet where I keep my gym supps like protein tubs, BCAA's, glutamine, beta-alanine, Inulin soluble fiber etc.. Yeah, I'm all about living this healthy lifestyle! Well, if you consider including gear into this a healthy lifestyle, lol! Which I certainly do.
Alphamale500Thks man. Yeah Curcumin has many benefits for many different ailments. I've been using this particular supplement to help with a shoulder injury(possible rotator cuff injury) that I suffered recently. And I've really noticed less painful movement and a wider range of movement. The last two days I actually woke up without a really sore shoulder, so I'd definitely say it's working.
This really sucks because I'm in the middle of a high dose primo cycle. I've really been trying to make the best of this situation thinking it will quickly heal, but I think it's time to bring the doctors into this. But as for helping joint problems, Theracurmin is a very effective supplement for sure.
